The ground within the depths of the Catacombs cracked and bulged up as inside of it, an ancient voice boomed out before two hands rose to split apart the earth even more.
Root-like bindings covered the decrepit hands that emerged, the earth of the Catacombs splitting apart more and more as ultimately…a head rose out.
"Ah…."
The voice was dry as the coldest desert, with the sound grating to to ears as what came out was a decrepit humanoid entity whose bodily proportions were eerie to see.
She stretched out her limbs as her mouth opened wide, revealing extremely sharp canines that looked more like fangs!
The face of this being was gray and haggard as it looked malnourished, but it smiled devilishly at this moment while its nose smelled the sweet scent of blood near these areas of the Catacombs.
"The great Empusa has finally regained clarity once more…even if it is early. Just who could loosen the integrity of the Aeonic Chains of this deadly Plane?"
