Commentator (Ian Darke):
"Ohhh they've done it! It's Richter! But it starts with Roney Bardghji—what a press! He snatches the ball right off Fred's boots like candy from a child!"
Fred, casual again near the halfway line, tries to pivot out of trouble, but Bardghji closes the gap in two steps—clean, sharp, no foul—just hunger. He strips the ball and surges forward like a coiled spring snapping free.
Darke:
"Just look at this—he's driving now, head up, options left and right…"
He delays for a beat, dragging Djiku toward him—then squares it across the top of the box.
Richter is already there. Doesn't break stride.
One touch, right-footed. Laces through it. Low, skipping just inside the near post before Livaković can drop.
Darke:
"Richter doesn't hesitate! Drills it low! 1–0 to the Bantams!"
Valley Parade erupts.
Scarves fly. Smoke bombs hiss red and gold. The Kop bounces like a wave under floodlights.
