Synopsis

I could feel her eyes trailing my every move as I reached for my cup of tea, her gaze burning into my skin like she was trying to peel me apart and figure out what had changed.


Because I wasn't the same weak, desperate girl she used to toy with. I wasn't the foolish Luna-to-be who hung onto every word she and Damian said. I wasn't the pathetic little pawn she could manipulate with a few fake smiles and whispered words of "friendship."
