Chapter 109 - Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [109]

Now, Rhodes could have Seth the harlequin open warp routes for him, allowing him to travel anywhere in the galaxy at speeds even faster than superluminal engines.

Soon, Rhodes planned to contact Seth and have him search for a suitable daemon planet, then deploy all the giant monsters there.

No! Wait! His giant monsters couldn't be deployed there. Their lethality against daemons was far weaker than that of the Chaos Daemon Slayer.

His giant monsters could indeed crush the daemons on the planet, stomping them into pieces. However, whether it was a giant monster or a mechanical monster, the daemons they killed wouldn't truly die.

Their souls would return to the Warp and be reborn. Even the weakest daemons could revive through this process.

The only way to truly kill them was with the Holy Psychic Light of the Emperor, wielded by the Chaos Demon Slayer.

Rhodes wasn't sure if killing daemons with ordinary giant monsters or mechanical monsters would earn him system recharge gold coins, as they weren't truly dead in the real sense.

So, sending these giant monsters together wouldn't be as effective as having the Chaos Daemon Slayer act alone.

"Chaos Daemon Slayer, among all your skills, only this newly acquired Holy Light can completely kill daemons, right?" Rhodes asked.

This needed to be confirmed. If it was only the light, then there would be just one chance to strike. After all, the other abilities of the Chaos Slayer might not necessarily counter these daemons.

"Master, I can imbue this Holy Light power into my weapons, claws, or fists.

In close combat, I can also kill those daemons. This Holy Light power isn't like the energy beams used by those Ultra Warriors.

It's not just for shooting; it enhances my entire body in all aspects, making it extremely useful." The Chaos Daemon Slayer replied.

After arriving in this new world, the first energy beam skill he received was already incredibly powerful, and perfectly suited for his future battles.

Moreover, as a Chaos Daemon Slayer, he had to master some demonic powers. When he encountered those daemons, he could try absorbing a powerful beam skill from them.

"Then there's no problem. I originally planned for you to cooperate with the other giant monsters, but now I think it's best if you act alone." Rhodes said.

In the future, he needed to form multiple specialized strike teams—a squad dedicated to dealing with the Tyranid Swarm, and another squad for Chaos daemons.

As for the Ace Killer, maybe there was no need to rely on a lottery system anymore. He could just buy one outright for 100,000 gold coins and have it infused with the Emperor's Holy Psychic Energy. He planned to establish a dedicated assassin organization to counter Chaos daemons.

However, Rhodes didn't intend to spend the remaining 200,000+ gold coins on two new Ace Killers.

These system coins needed to be invested in purchasing research-type cosmic beings. He had to establish his team of scientists first.

"Master! Whether it's solo missions or team fights, I can handle them.

However, if possible, I prefer acting alone, since I am, after all, an assassin." The Chaos Daemon Slayer said.

Teamwork wasn't an issue—he had cooperated with his previous master, the Yapool, before. But he still preferred solo operations.

"Alright! From today on, your job is to slaughter those daemons.

I'm giving you a special mission—your targets must be specific. Focus on hunting down the army under that perverted androgynous freak.

Kill every single one of their so-called Chosen, Chaos Champions, and Greater Daemons you encounter.

One of them is called Fulgrim—this guy is also a sick freak. Remember his name.

When you see him, go all out and destroy him. He's the Daemon Prince of that perverted androgynous freak and a despicable traitor.

Another one is a perverted scumbag named Lucius.

This guy has a special ability—anyone who kills him and experiences even a tiny bit of pleasure will be possessed and reborn as him.

Lucius is also one of your targets. His bizarre resurrection ability is indeed troublesome,

But you have the Emperor's Holy Light protecting you, so there's nothing to fear.

There's also a Chaos Champion Sister named Miriel Sabathiel—she's another one of your targets.

For now, practice on ordinary daemons first, then take these key figures out one by one." Rhodes commanded.

That perverted androgynous freak is targeting me?!

Fine! Then I'll target all of your Chaos Chosen, Chaos Champions, Daemon Princes, and Greater Daemons.

I'll wipe them all out!

Lucius' resurrection-possession ability was indeed a nightmare for regular Space Marines—essentially unsolvable.

However, against Rhodes, that ability was useless.

First of all, his power didn't work in the Warp Pathways. As long as he got the Harlequin Troupe to help, they could drag him into the pathways, nullifying his ability.

Secondly, the Daemon Slayer had a life force level far beyond Lucius' scope of possession. They weren't even on the same playing field.

And to top it off, with the Emperor's Holy Psychic Light, there was no chance for Lucius to succeed.

Rhodes believed that even a certain Fallen Primarch would have to be cautious when facing the current Chaos Demon Slayer—after all, it was the exclusive Golden Psychic Energy of the Emperor Himself.

If strengthened to the highest level, then if this daemon primarch doesn't want to die, he'll have no choice but to run away.

"Your command! It is my supreme will, my ultimate goal.

Master! Let me hunt daemons for you! Let them know the power of the Chaos Daemon Slayer.

That one called Lucius, and that one called Fulgrim, Miriel Sabathiel, and those Daemons.

All of that perverted man's Chaos Champions and Chaos Chosen—according to your will, Master, I will hunt them down one by one.

Unless I die, this hunt will not stop."

Chaos Demon Slayer knelt on the ground and spoke.

This is what truly gives meaning! This is the reason he exists, his very purpose of being—to hunt down a specific kind of being.

Only the hunt can satisfy him.

"Hmm! In the future, I will summon more slayers to fight alongside you. As my first slayer, you will lead these newly emerging Chaos Daemon Slayers."

Rhodes spoke, and the Chaos Daemon Slayer, kneeling on the ground, nodded toward him.

At this moment, the Chaos Daemon Slayer had transformed into a humanoid cosmic form, approximately 2 meters tall and weighing around 100 kg. This ability to change size at will is something most humanoid cosmic beings possess.

Now, it was time to select a suitable target for the first hunt. Rhodes used the communicator given to him by Seth earlier to contact those Harlequins.

["Lord Loki! What would you like us to do for you?"]

A hoarse voice came through the communicator.

"I need your help with two things. First, my four monsters are hunting Tyranid swarms on a certain planet. I'll send you the coordinates.

In about two or three days, they will have completely wiped out all the Tyranids on that planet. When that happens, I need you to go and pick up those four giant monsters."

Rhodes finished speaking and sent the coordinates of the planet where the Bemstar Squad was located.

["No problem, Lord Loki!

My companions have already set off for that planet. They are ready to guide your mechanical titans and giant monsters at any time."]

Senth on the other end of the communicator responded.

"Excellent. Once they've cleared all the Tyranids on the planet, lead them to the next nearest Tyranid infestation site."

Rhodes nodded.

Having access to the webway was incredibly convenient—it allowed the four giant monsters to quickly strike at the Tyranids with ease.

["Understood. I will notify my troupe members to find a suitable planet. Do you need our Harlequin Troupe to participate in the battle?"]

"No need. You just need to sit back and watch the show."

Rhodes replied.

What a joke—letting the Harlequin Troupe participate in the battle? Were they trying to steal his kills? Every single Tyranid was his.

["Hehe! Well, that makes this an easy job."]

"The second thing—I need you to quickly find a planet that has been heavily infiltrated by Chaos Daemon forces.

Preferably one that is about to open a Warp portal and unleash a demonic army. And ideally, it should be controlled by that perverted freak's forces.

Or his Chaos Space Marine warband, or even the Fallen Sisters of Battle."

Rhodes instructed.

["Oh! Lord Loki! This is exactly the kind of task we love. We'll find a suitable target very soon, and our Harlequin Troupe officially requests to join the battle!"]

Seth responded excitedly.

As expected of the descendants of the ancient empire favored by the Laughing God—they were already eager to stir up trouble for these Chaos enemies.

Slaanesh was the sworn enemy of all Eldar—whether Harlequins, Exodites, Craftworld Eldar, Corsairs, or even the Dark Eldar.

Hunting Chaos Champions and Chaos Chosen of Slaanesh was a duty they would never hesitate to fulfill.

"Request denied! This time, you only need to act as guides. I must ensure your safety.

The one under my command is called the Chaos Daemon Slayer—he is a specialist in hunting daemons. You just need to take him there."

Rhodes stated firmly.

Kill-stealing? Go to hell! No one was going to steal his kills!

["Alright then! We'll watch this hunt up close and turn it into a play!

We'll adapt this hunt into a theatrical performance and spread it across all Eldar territories."]

Although they were slightly disappointed that they couldn't join in the hunt against the Chaos Demons, it didn't matter.

The Harlequin Troupe had another job to do—writing a script and turning this hunt into a performance to be shared across Eldar domains.

"That's fine. Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up now. Complete my tasks as soon as possible."

Rhodes instructed.

["Hehe! Don't worry, my lord. Leave it to us. We'll get it done in a week at most."]

Seth assured him.

"Good! I'll be waiting for your good news."

Rhodes nodded in satisfaction and ended the communication with Seth.
