The next morning came and Elysia felt strong arms around her. She blinked sleepily, her eyes adjusting to the dim light of the room.
She was naked. And in Malvoria's arms.
The events of last night came flooding back to her at once, and Elysia fought back a blush. She remembered the way Malvoria had taken control, the way she had kissed Elysia so deeply.
And she remembered how she had tried to stab the queen.
Elysia felt a shiver run through her, remembering how the blade had fallen to the floor without so much as a second glance from Malvoria. And she remembered the look in Malvoria's eyes as she had pressed against Elysia.

Elysia struggled to sit up, her face heating when she felt Malvoria's arm tighten around her waist.
"Don't move," Malvoria muttered, her voice low and rough from sleep.
