Chaos erupted the moment Elysia agreed to the soldiers' plan.
"Alright," one soldier announced, clapping his hands together with far too much excitement. "Operation 'Disguise the Queen' is officially a go!"
Elysia raised an eyebrow. "That's what we're calling it?"
"Unless you've got a better name," another soldier shot back with a grin.
Before Elysia could respond, the group had already launched into a frantic scramble, pulling random articles of clothing from thin air with their limited-use storage spells.
Within moments, the training yard looked less like a military ground and more like a bizarre backstage of a very chaotic theater production.
"Try this!" one soldier said eagerly, holding up a long, hooded cloak.
Elysia reached for it, only to pause when she realized it was a vibrant shade of hot pink with glittering sequins along the hem.
She gave the soldier a flat look. "You do realize the point is to blend in, right? Not to blind everyone within a five-mile radius."
