"What is the situation on the frontlines?"

"With Yingkou secured, we can advance along the coastline, but…"

"Anshan remains impenetrable."

"It's only a matter of time, though."

The battlefront had crystallized into three key theaters: Anshan, Yingkou, and Lüshun. Lüshun was purely defensive, while Yingkou and Anshan served as sites of relentless offensives. Yet everywhere, except Lüshun, was a simultaneous theater of attack and defense—a deadly stalemate.
