"Can you explain? What do you mean?" Jonathan asked the person on the phone, a frown on his face.
Curious, since he was starng at me as he asked, I started. "Who is…?" But I couldn't get all the words out before he shushed me with his fingers on my lips.
Shocked, I simply stared at him as he continued with the call.
"If I find anything. I'll make sure to call you… Alright… Yeah, we should meet soon for a meeting." He said and dropped the call.
"Didn't you get the hint that you should have kept quiet?" He said, sounding frustrated.
I simply shrugged. "Why were you looking at me like you wanted to say something then?" I asked, not at all fazed.
He sighed. "That was Eleni's husband. He asked if I'd reached out to her as an afterthought, but I think I was able to convince him."
"That's good then. Even if he doesn't believe you, I doubt he will come here to look for her."
