In the afternoon, Theodore returned to his mansion after he finished the meeting between the nobles elsewhere. When he entered the mansion, several servants frantically ran up to him.
"Your Grace!" they called while running towards their employer. Of course this made Theodore feel confused, why did they look so panicked.
"What's wrong? Why do you look panicked like this?" he asked seriously while waiting for an answer from them.
The servants seemed hesitant to answer his question. But they had to tell him about Seraphine's disappearance.
Until finally, one of them ventured to tell him about the incident. Again, Theodore was surprised by their answer. This was even more surprising to him because Seraphine was missing.
"What?! How did she disappear!" he asked in a raised tone of voice. They were all surprised, having never heard Theodore raise his voice like that. Even if he was stern, his voice still sounded a little calm.
