Mira's breath hitched as she walked up to him and threw herself into his arms, her fake tears soaking into his tunic.
"Your Highness!" she wailed, clutching at his chest. "That lowlife maid, she caused the death of my maids! My childhood maids!"
Dimitri's expression remained unreadable as his eyes flicked to the lifeless bodies sprawled on the ground whose blood had been soaked by the ground. He then shifted his attention to the two surviving servants who had accompanied Mira, their body shaking with fear as their heads remained bowed.
"Go outside and bring some guards. Have them remove these bodies from my training ground at once," he ordered, his voice devoid of emotion and laced with irritation.
"Yes, Your Highness!" the servants responded in unison before dashing off, leaving only Dimitri, Mira, and Sorayah.
Mira straightened, anger flashing in her eyes as she turned on Sorayah.
