The trilogy is pure wuxia. If you are tired of magic, demons, fairies, gods, and spirits, and just want to enjoy the typical conflict in the martial world, human interactions wrapped in beautiful love stories, and many interesting characters, you should read these novels.

This first published novel is actually the second part of the trilogy, while the other two novels will play parts as prequel and sequel.
The Eight Descendants tells the story of Hua Jinshui and Xu Qiao. When Yumen Sect was destroyed, the eight guardians were ordered to select eight descendants to restore the sect one day. The descendants stayed hidden for seven years before they were found by an elderly in the martial world. The story starts here.
At the same time, a white steel fan appeared in the martial world, rumored as the artifact left by the Sword God, and contained a secret to either defeat or support the primary manual of Yumen Sect. Two families were murdered by an unknown figure, and a it was a mystery waiting to be solved by the descendants.
The Main Descendant Hua Jinshui was poisoned and must take three years of recuperation after saving a young girl named Xu Qiao.
Three years later the journey continued and they joined the descendant Huang Yu to find the other descendants.
THE HORIZON STAR - SUMMARY
Gu Qiongnan, the son of a general who hopes to live a life as the defender of the weak without killing, leaves the military and war to join a martial arts organization, Leiyun Zhuang. While on a mission to find a fugitive, he meets Bai Qiuyi, the mysterious woman who lives in the distant mountain area called Baiyu Shan, and the story between the two begins here.
THE YOUNG MARTIAL HEROES - SUMMARY
Gao Zhixiong, the son of an official who grew up in a wealthy family, is taken by his father to meet a prince one day. During a banquet, the prince unexpectedly declares an order to kill Gao Zhixiong and his good friend, Huan Muquan. In an attempt to escape, they encounter the new Yumen descendants and are taken to the headquarters. The Yumen sect and the entire martial world at that time began to face the threat of a new sect.
