Chapter One : Dao Li
In an era of greed and lust, where there is no limit to one's desires or possessions, a catastrophic event changed the world forever—The Great Dimension Break.
[In this world, the only things that matter are Money & Power.]
A hundred years ago, when the Great Dimension Break occurred, mysterious crystals emerged, granting immense power to those whose bodies were compatible with them. These people could awaken their potential and practice an advanced form of Martial Arts, now known as Qi Arts. These mystical crystals were called "Evolution Crystals."
Those who awakened were granted an Evolution Crystal and sent to a place known as Daylight Shelter—a separate world, teeming with unknown species, unique currencies, and dangers lurking at every turn. If not for the constant threat of death, many would have mistaken it for a game.
The Beasts & Intelligent Races
The creatures in the Daylight Shelter were divided into five tiers, ranked based on their strength:
Beasts: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5
Intelligent Races: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5
To become stronger, humans followed the Gene Copying Method—consuming the flesh of Mutated Beasts to integrate their genes. If they encountered an intelligent species, such as the mysterious Radients, they could request a gene exchange instead.
The Selection Process
Every year, after graduating from compulsory education, individuals were evaluated to identify potential Awakened Beings. However, those who were detected as Awakened were not fully awakened. They needed an Evolution Crystal to unlock their true potential.
Among the newly evaluated candidates was Dao Li—a young man whose awakening was considered an unfortunate event.
Deemed talentless and weak, he was thrown into a low-tier Shelter (Earth Grade), making his already miserable life even worse. His family, one of the prestigious Ancient Six Families, saw no worth in him and treated him like trash.
Dao Li, an 18-year-old, was thin and frail—so underweight that a mere touch would reveal his bones. He weighed only 50 kg, significantly less than his peers.
(Hidden Secret - Only revealed behind the scenes!)
The only strong muscle in Dao Li's body was in his pelvis… but he was so naïve that he didn't even know its purpose beyond excretion.
The Strange Message
Late at night, Dao Li lay on his bed, gazing at the stars through his window. A notification sound suddenly echoed in his room, but he ignored it, assuming it was just his imagination. However, when he glanced at his communication device, he saw a strange message from an unknown sender.
"Do you want to become an Emperor in a day?"
Dao Li was confused.
First, communication devices shouldn't even work in the Shelter due to the harsh climate and aurora interference in the sky.
Second, who could have sent this message?
And lastly… what should he reply?
Thinking it was some prank, he ignored it and went back to sleep.
But then—
Clench! Clench!
The notification sound rang again.
Frustrated, Dao Li finally responded:
"Who are you?"
Clench! Clench!
Again, the same message appeared.
"Do you want to become an Emperor in a day?"
With no clue about the sender, Dao Li sighed and hesitantly replied.
"Yes."
And without waiting for a response, he went to sleep, assuming this ridiculous situation would be forgotten by morning.
But then—
Clench! Clench!
A final message flashed on his screen:
"Delivery will be made within two days."
And with that, his communication device turned off automatically.

The Next Day – The Hunt Begins
The next morning, Dao Li walked through a crowded plaza in the Daylight Shelter, where hunters gathered—some returning from missions, others preparing for battle.
Suddenly, a familiar voice called from behind.
"Hey Dao Li! You're here? What are you doing?"
Dao Li turned around, already knowing who it was.
"Fin Daulin!"
Fin Daulin was the only person Dao Li knew in the Shelter. Back in school, he was the one who cheated off Dao Li's exam papers. However, after arriving in the Shelter, his strong physique helped him rise through the ranks, eventually becoming the right-hand man of Guild Leader Zan Ranwu.
The Major Guilds of Daylight Shelter
There were four dominant guilds in the Shelter, each with its own influence and specialty:
1. The One Shot – Controlled by the Yu Family (one of the Ancient Six Families). Associated with the military and known for its beautiful but deadly leaders and strategic brilliance.
2. The Falcons – A mercenary group that worked purely for money.
3. The Jerks – An independent guild formed by outcasts and single men. Despite their casual nature, they had the highest number of members and often partnered with The One Shot.
4. The Zan – Controlled by the Zan Family (one of the Ancient Six Families). Known for its business empire and ruthless efficiency in bloodshed.
Daylight Shelter itself was a planet located trillions of light-years from Earth. It was only accessible due to the advancements in teleportation technology.

Dao Li's Status
Before heading out for the Sacred Ancient Beast Hunt, Dao Li checked his profile:
[Status]
Name: Dao Li
Age: 18 Years
Height: 165 cm
Weight: 50 kg
[Sea of Spirit]
«Fine Bone Lizard Claw (Tier 1)»

The Journey to Blue Rose Mountain
The One Shot Guild set out for their mission—hunting a Sacred Ancient Beast at Blue Rose Mountain. The journey would take three days, leading them through dangerous regions filled with mutated creatures.
As night fell, the team set up camp. While others chatted by the bonfire, Dao Li sat alone, stargazing.
'Is there any hope for me? Can I change my fate? My sister is still trapped with my family, and I am too weak to save her. When will I become strong enough to stand on my own in this vast world?'
With these thoughts weighing on his mind, Dao Li eventually fell asleep.

The Plan Of Unknown Awakening
That night, deep within Dao Li's Sea of Spirit, an unknown light flickered—
"Delivery will reach in two hours."
"You are not evolved yet…"
"You are eligible to enter the Final Dungeon of Heaven."
The Evolution Screen flickered continuously, but strangely, Dao Li was unaware of it.
At that moment, he found himself in a dream—
A vision of an orphanage.
Two crying babies, a nurse, and a man in a red suit.
"Mr. Zhan, these are the only survivors of the last Dimension Break."
The man sighed.
"Feed them properly. How can you be so reckless with the descendants of the Dao Family?"
"The Dao Family?!" the nurse gasped.
Dao Li's heart pounded violently.
He woke up, drenched in sweat.

The next morning, the One Shot Guild reached their final destination—
The Blue Rose Mountain.
