Chapter 219 - Chapter 219

Forbidden Jutsu: Breaking Barrier Technique

The Forbidden Jutsu: Breaking Barrier Technique contained vast and complex information. This was the first time Haruto Saito had experienced such a sensation—a sharp and profound impact, as the knowledge transformed into memory, directly imprinting itself onto the deepest corners of his mind.

Haruto's eyes lit up slightly. This subtle change did not escape Terado's sharp perception.

"What are you doing?" Terado asked.

From the outside, Haruto didn't appear to be doing anything unusual. He simply coughed into his hand, his expression momentarily dazed.

Instead of answering, Haruto stood up abruptly. A surge of chakra rippled from his body as he clapped his hands together and began forming hand seals!

Twelve consecutive hand seals—his hands moved swiftly. As his palms met for the final time, black curse mark symbols shot out from between them, whirling around him before imprinting onto his forehead.

He didn't stop.

Another sequence of twelve hand seals—this time, the curse mark symbols flew out and branded themselves onto the back of his right hand.

He continued!

A third round of hand seals. The curse mark symbols then appeared on the back of his left hand.

Terado's eyes widened in shock!

He knew exactly what those three curse marks represented.

The chakra fluctuations around Haruto quickly receded. At the same time, the markings on his forehead and hands slowly faded as if they had never been there—vanishing into nothingness.

The Breaking Barrier Technique was complete!

"Terado-sama, you've lost!" Haruto said with a wide grin.

Terado stared at Haruto intently, his face twitching slightly. His sharp eyes narrowed as he slowly raised his hand. "Demonstrate it."

He refused to admit defeat.

Something about this felt off—Terado suspected that Haruto's success might be an illusion. The hand seals could be a deception, or perhaps even a genjutsu.

Even with Terado's formidable willpower—strong enough to resist being completely trapped in an illusion—he knew that his eyes could still be tricked.

"Heh, then allow me to show you… the Breaking Barrier Technique!"

Haruto chuckled, then suddenly turned and dashed toward the sealed cell door.

The moment his body made contact with the door, despite his clothing acting as a barrier, the chakra rippling from his body activated the sealing marks on the door.

His body distorted for a brief moment.

"Secret Technique—Breaking Barrier Technique!"

The very instant Haruto touched the door, he vanished from the cell.

He was outside!

And most importantly—he did not break the seal on the door!

This wasn't just any ordinary cell—it was the most secure prison within the Konoha Anbu base. The door alone contained powerful sealing jutsu, but that wasn't all—the walls, floor, and ceiling were reinforced by a comprehensive sealing barrier.

Standard teleportation techniques, like the Body Flicker Technique, were completely ineffective unless the door was open.

Even advanced jutsu like Earth Release underground movement techniques or substitution techniques couldn't bypass the prison's seals.

The only known way to enter and exit a sealed cell like this was through a space-time teleportation technique—something like Flying Thunder God Technique.

Even then, Flying Thunder God required a marking formula for the user to teleport to.

But Haruto hadn't used space-time teleportation. Terado could feel it!

He had turned the impossible into reality!

"Breaking Barrier Technique… Breaking Barrier Technique… In just seven days… he mastered the Breaking Barrier Technique…"

Terado was utterly shaken. His expression flickered with disbelief, his sharp eyes reflecting a glimmer of an unusual light.

Now, he waited.

He waited for Haruto to return.

He needed to reevaluate this kid.

He needed to talk to him properly.

But no matter how long he waited…

Haruto did not come back.

Outside the Dungeon

Outside the underground prison, in the dimly lit cavern, two Anbu Jonin stood guard at the sealed door—motionless.

Suddenly—

The sealing marks on the door lit up.

A shadowy figure flashed between them, appearing right in front of the prison door.

Haruto Saito had emerged!

"So this is how it feels…"

He exhaled deeply, shifting his body uncomfortably.

Breaking Barrier Technique was forbidden jutsu—and like all forbidden techniques, it had its own side effects and drawbacks.

Although it didn't directly injure the user, its drawback was… compression!

It felt as if a mountain had suddenly pressed down on his body—thankfully, only for a fleeting moment.

For someone with a weak physique or improper breathing control, this could lead to internal injuries.

In extreme cases, if the chakra output was insufficient or unstable, it could result in a catastrophic failure—the user being crushed into a pile of pulp.

Moreover, using Breaking Barrier Technique repeatedly would inevitably lead to injuries, unless the user possessed an exceptionally strong body—like some shinobi from Kumogakure, known for their extreme physical resilience.

Haruto, however, did not possess such a physique.

But… it didn't matter.

Even if he broke his bones from overuse, he could just use a card to heal himself.

Besides, his mastery over Breaking Barrier Technique came from consuming a skill card—he hadn't learned it through normal means.

His version of the technique was flawless.

Perfect execution.

Minimal risk of injury.

The Guards' Shock

"Red Eye!"

"Red Eye—how did you get out?!"

The two Anbu Jonin were stunned.

Haruto had entered the prison at nightfall, and it was now deep into the night.

Previously, when Haruto wanted to exit, he would always knock on the door.

But this time, he had simply appeared outside.

And most importantly—the prison door hadn't opened or been broken!

Haruto glanced at his two comrades, paused briefly, then casually said:

"This was something my teacher… or rather, Hokage-sama, taught me."

"He gave me a way to bypass the seal. The markings on the door can't stop me anymore, so I just walked out…"

Of course, this was complete nonsense.

Haruto intentionally kept his explanation vague and credited the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

That way, the guards wouldn't question him too much.

"I see…"

"So this seal actually has a simple way to bypass it?"

The two Anbu Jonin nodded in apparent understanding. Though skeptical, they didn't press the issue further.

"It's not exactly 'bypassing' the seal," Haruto added. "Rather, the seal no longer works on me. That's about it."

He deliberately avoided mentioning Breaking Barrier Technique—even Hiruzen himself didn't know about it.

Such a powerful yet forbidden technique—this was his ace in the hole.

Besides, learning it in just seven days was simply too unbelievable.

Hiruzen was aware of Haruto's copying ability, but he didn't know that Haruto also possessed superhuman learning speed.

Emergency Alarm!

DONG! DONG! DONG!

Suddenly, a sharp bell rang out, echoing across the entire Anbu base.

Haruto paused mid-step, just about to head back inside—but the ringing forced him to stop.

"An emergency mission!"

"That's the summoning alarm!"

"Something big has happened!"

The two Anbu Jonin muttered, though they couldn't leave their posts.

Haruto, however, had no choice but to respond.

"What's going on?!"

He sprinted down the corridor, heading straight for the central hall.

"Anbu operatives, hear my command!"

A thunderous voice—White Fang—boomed throughout the base.

"An intruder has infiltrated the core of the back mountain forest! All available combat-ready shinobi—mobilize for elimination! Assassination unit—protect Uzumaki Mito at all costs! Any outsider who steps within one kilometer of her residence—kill on sight!"
