The forest was still suffocatingly silent, broken only by the faint sound of rustling leaves. until-
The Void monster crashed down into the dense forest below like a meteorite, It slithered out of the hole it had created, scanning the woods with its four eyes as it moved forward. Tentacles lashed out, snatching insects from the air and swallowing them whole. The taste was terrible, but it didn't matter.
The Void monster continued aimlessly wandering, completely unaware of its surroundings. Suddenly, a bear burst from the bushes, roaring as it charged toward the creature.
It easily dodged the bear's swipe with immense speed and inhuman reflexes. Tentacles shot out, coiling around the bear tightly and slamming it into large trees and rocks over and over until the bear was completely lifeless.
The Void monster then examined its lifeless prey before devouring it whole, its hunger momentarily satisfied. It then set its sights on finding a way to get stronger and one day seek vengeance.
