Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 ; This feeling

Kimberly's POV

I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about my… boyfriend? Girlfriend? I didn't care anymore. Whoever he is, whatever the world wants to call him — he's mine. And I'm ready to love him right.

It's been over a month since I said yes to him, but it still feels like yesterday. Fresh. Magical.

"I just want to smell him one more time."

I hugged my pillow, rolling over with a lazy smile on my face. Eventually, I dragged myself to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and stared into the mirror. There was something different about me now — like I was finally glowing from the inside out.

"I should wear makeup today," I whispered to my reflection. "He'll love it."

After my shower, I took my time. Light foundation, soft pink blush, a little shimmer on my eyes. I wanted to look like a dream — his dream.

Just as I stepped out of my apartment, I heard someone call my name.

"Miss Kimberly?"

I turned to see Andy's driver. How did I not recognize him before?

"Good morning, Miss," he greeted politely.

"Good morning, sir. What brings you here?"

"Mr. Andy asked me to wait for you. From today, I'll be your personal driver."

"He did?" My smile widened without permission. This man is spoiling me rotten.

I climbed into the car, feeling like royalty. The city passed by in a blur, but inside me, everything was still.

When I stepped into the company, the silence was immediate.

People who thought I'd been fired now stared like they'd seen a ghost — a gorgeous one.

I greeted my friends with a big smile, pretending not to notice the whispers.

"Girl, what happened to you?" Jerry asked. "You look drop-dead divine."

"Thanks, Jerry," I giggled. "Glad I don't look too bad."

We laughed and chatted like old times until suddenly — the atmosphere shifted.

Andy stepped out of his office.

Everyone snapped to attention like the air itself froze. But then, something none of them expected happened.

He walked right up to me. In front of everyone, he kissed my cheek.

"Good morning, darling. You look beautiful today."

I flushed, heart pounding. "Thanks, babe."

"Come upstairs. I've got a surprise for you."

His hand slid around my waist like it belonged there, and I swear I could hear a hundred heartbeats stop at once.

But Andy didn't care. To him, this — us — was the dream. He didn't need the world to accept him. Just me.

And I already had.

Andy's POV

Loving her changed me.

I never knew what it meant to feel safe with someone, to give without fear, to smile without guilt. Kimberly gave me that.

I gave her everything — not because she asked, but because it felt right. And maybe I went overboard, making her Director of the company, buying her gifts she didn't even ask for. But I didn't care.

She lived like a queen — my queen.

And every day I woke up, I knew she chose me. That was all I needed.

Kimberly's POV – Later That Day

I was lounging on my couch, half-watching some movie, phone in hand. Then it rang.

"Hello?" I answered, already smiling when I saw the name. Daisy.

"Hello, Kim," came her bubbly voice.

"Oh my God, baby girl!" I jumped to my feet, excitement rushing in. "Where have you been?!"

"Don't even start," she teased. "You disappeared on me!"

"It's work! And stress! But hey, you didn't call either!"

"Fine, fine. But you owe me everything. Spill the tea. From the beginning."

I laughed, settling back on the couch. "Alright, brace yourself. I'm in love."

"Wait — WHAT?! You have a boyfriend?!" Daisy screamed through the phone. "Oh my God, finally! Welcome to the couple's club. You're gonna be getting—"

"Daisy!" I cut her off, laughing but a little uneasy.

"Okay, okay," she said, trying to calm down. "Who is he?"

"His name is Andy," I said slowly. "And… he's a girl."

Silence.

"What do you mean?" Daisy asked, her voice uncertain.

"Don't ask yet. Let me explain."

I told her everything. How we met. How he looked at me like I was magic. How I couldn't resist falling. How he was born female, but lived fully, powerfully, as a man.

Daisy was quiet for a while.

"I mean… you're not dating a trans guy, right?" she asked. "So, he's a woman who looks like a man?"

I sighed. "Does it matter when I'm this happy?"

"Kim… you're a lesbian. Or you're dating a guy without a—"

"Daisy," I interrupted. "I love him. I love his heart. I love the way he makes me feel safe and spoiled and worshipped. I'm not thinking about the future right now. I just want to enjoy this moment."

She paused, then laughed. "Damn. Director of his company too? Girl, you hit the jackpot!"

"Exactly!"

"Well, just don't say I didn't warn you if things flip."

"Shut up. What about you? How's Michael?"

"...I cheated on him."

"DAISY!"

"Don't judge! He had abs. Real bad-boy abs. I folded like laundry."

We both burst into laughter. For the first time in a while, I felt free.

After we hung up, I glanced at the time — I had an appointment soon.

I dialed my driver. "Mr. Park? I need pickup in thirty minutes."

"Yes, ma'am. On my way."

I stood up, heart full, smiling at my reflection. Life felt perfect.

Andy's POV – Same Evening

I washed my face again. It had been over a month since I told her I loved her — but it still felt like yesterday.

She haunted my thoughts.

Her green eyes, soft skin, those pink lips I wanted to kiss every second of every day.

I smiled just thinking of her.

Then the doorbell rang.

She's here.

I quickly wiped my hands, took a breath, and walked toward the door, already smiling
