Zeus shook his head, his lips twitching in amusement as he watched his fiancée dissolve into another fit of laughter.
Ceres was laughing so hard that she had to collapse onto the massive bed of the private suite they had booked at the Vineyard. Her laughter filled the room, unapologetic, unrestrained, beautiful.
"Oh my gosh!" she gasped between laughs, wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes. "My stomach hurts."
Zeus lay down beside her, turning on his side to face her fully, his eyes watching her closely. Even though his blood was still boiling, watching her like this, carefree, unbothered, stunning, made all of it worth it.
"Someone had fun," Zeus murmured, arching an eyebrow at her.
Ceres tried to stop laughing, but the moment she looked at his serious expression, she lost it again.
She laughed even harder.
Zeus let her.
God, he loved this woman so much, so much that he was willing to assist her in destroying people's lives just for the fun of it.
There was nothing he didn't love about her.
Even her pure yet diabolical heart.
He watched as she laughed until she was out of breath, her body relaxing against the mattress. And just when she was about to recover, Zeus leaned in and bit her shoulder, hard enough to make her yelp.
"Hey! That hurts!" Ceres complained, pouting her lips, though her golden eyes still sparkled with amusement.
"That's for ignoring me for more than five minutes," Zeus grumbled, licking the spot where he bit her to soothe it.
Ceres smirked before shifting to straddle him, pressing her full weight onto his body before capturing his lips in a teasing kiss.
Not that it mattered to him, she could weigh nothing or everything and he would still want her on top of him.
"Happy now?" she asked playfully, sitting up on his lap.
Zeus's hands automatically slid up her thighs, gripping her waist.
"Not really," he huffed, pretending to sulk. "You still haven't given me the bribe you promised."
At that, Ceres's lips curled into a wicked smile.
"You haven't even congratulated me," she pointed out, tilting her head in mock offense.
"For what, love?" Zeus asked lazily, shifting effortlessly beneath her, sitting up against the headboard, pulling her closer in the process.
"For being the best actress, obviously," she said playfully.
She leaned in, her fingers slowly unbuttoning his polo, one by one.
Zeus smirked.
"Congratulations, love," he whispered, brushing his lips against her ear. "For making a fool out of Ryzel, again."
He felt her shiver when he nipped her earlobe, his teeth grazing against her skin just enough to make her giggle.
Earlier at the photoshoot, Ryzel had not stopped staring at Ceres.
Zeus had noticed, of course, he had.
And knowing Ryzel? He was probably feeding himself more delusions, twisting every interaction Zeus had with Ceres into something that fits his narrative.
So, when Ceres told him he needed to step away for a bit, pretending to head toward the guest house or somewhere else, Zeus already knew exactly what she was planning.
And he didn't like it.
He didn't want to let her out of his sight, but Ceres had promised him a bribe if he played along.
And Zeus was always willing to negotiate… for the right price.
So he had played along.
He had left her alone, but only visibly.
As expected, the moment Ryzel thought Zeus was gone, he immediately followed Ceres to the powder room.
What Ryzel didn't know was that Zeus had followed him, too.
He had watched everything.
Every movement. Every lingering gaze. Every desperate touch.
And every single word that left Ceres's lips…
A beautiful, flawless lie.
Ceres smirked, eyes gleaming with satisfaction as she finished unbuttoning Zeus's shirt and slipped it off his shoulders.
"I swear, I'm starting to scare myself," she mused, licking her lips. "My acting was so good, I even got Ciena and Ryzel's blessing to ruin their lives."
Zeus chuckled, brimming with pride, as he pressed his lips against the delicate curve of her shoulder.
"They never stood a chance against you, love," he murmured in between kisses.
"They're so pathetic, I almost feel bad for them," Ceres sighed dramatically, tilting her head to give him better access to her neck while her fingers expertly unfastened his belt.
"Let's stop talking about them," Zeus said, capturing her lips in a slow, heated kiss.
He nipped at her lower lip before pulling away.
"I want my bribe now."
Ceres raised an eyebrow.
"Hello? I'm literally undoing your belt right now," she pointed out, amused, glancing down at her hands.
"But this isn't my bribe," Zeus huffed, childishly pouting.
Ceres blinked.
"So you don't want this?" she teased.
"Of course, I do." He rolled his hips slightly, pressing his hardness against her core just to prove his point. "Can't you feel that? But this isn't my bribe."
Ceres let out a breathless laugh.
"Then what is this, huh?" she asked, still teasing.
"This is my prize for being the perfect fiancé," Zeus declared. "My bribe is for stopping myself from punching Ryzel in the face earlier."
Ceres smirked, clearly entertained.
Zeus sighed.
"I still don't know how we share a single drop of blood," he muttered. "He's so stupid, he didn't even notice the concave mirror above that little 'hiding spot' of yours. I could see you both, love. And if he had even an ounce of intelligence, he could have seen me watching and listening to your conversation."
Ceres laughed at that, pinching Zeus's nose playfully.
"You're getting so demanding now," she teased.
"But I deserve it. I've been a very good fiancé," he murmured, smirking as he kissed the exposed skin of her cleavage, barely hidden by her low-cut dress.
Ceres pretended to think.
"Fine, fine," she relented. "What kind of bribe do you want?"
Zeus buried his nose against her neck, inhaling deeply.
"Hmm," he hummed against her skin. "Something worthy of my patience."
Ceres rolled her eyes playfully, giving him a sharp glare, which only made him grin wider.
He responded by trailing soft kisses down her collarbone.
Ceres sighed, clearly humoring him.
"How about a weekend getaway?" Ceres offered, her voice laced with playful temptation. "Just the two of us."
Zeus scoffed.
"We've done that already," he pointed out.
And so, Ceres listed every possible bribe she could offer him.
But it was difficult to think of something for a man who already had everything.
From offering to learn how to cook for him to suggesting a one-month vacation to Europe, Zeus rejected them all.
"Not worthy enough."
"That's not a prize, it's a given."
"Love, do you seriously think a vacation is equal to my patience earlier? I stopped myself from smashing Ryzel's face in."
But deep down, she knew exactly what he really wanted.
He was only rejecting her offers because they weren't the one thing he wanted most.
And truth be told, if Ceres had truly insisted, he would've accepted any of them already.
But the faint disappointment in his eyes made her stop teasing him.
She leaned in, pressing soft kisses to his lips, then to the corner of his mouth, trailing down to his earlobe.
"How about…" she whispered, her breath warm against his skin, "from now until the end of the week…"
She paused, enjoying the way his body tensed beneath her.
"I won't take any Plan B."
Zeus froze.
For a second, he didn't breathe.
And then, without a word, he flipped their positions, pinning her beneath him.
"Promise," he demanded, his voice shaking with anticipation, with need.
Ceres chuckled, cupping his face.
"Promise." She let her fingers trace his jaw. "But only until the end of the week."
Zeus growled in satisfaction.
He kissed her pulse, smirked, and within seconds, ripped her dress in half.
"Love!" Ceres gasped, half in shock, half laughing, as Zeus immediately pulled away to strip himself of the last remaining clothes on his body.
"Oh my god, Zeus Falcon, you dog!" she squealed, laughing as he grabbed her by the legs and yanked her toward the edge of the bed.
She was still wearing her white lace panties, but Zeus didn't even bother taking them off.
He simply moved the fabric aside,
And thrust into her without warning.
The sudden intrusion made Ceres arch her back, her gasp turning into a deep, breathless moan.
No matter how many times they did this, Zeus was still too big for her, especially when he didn't prepare her first.
Her nails dug into his shoulders as she tried to adjust to him.
And just as she was about to speak, she felt it.
The sudden warmth spreading inside her.
Her body froze.
She blinked. Stunned. Speechless.
Zeus had already released inside her.
Her mouth opened, then closed, then opened again.
"Love," she finally managed, staring at him in disbelief. "Please tell me you didn't just…"
"I did, love," Zeus admitted shamelessly, his face blissfully satisfied.
Ceres gaped at him.
"You're insane, ughhhhh!"
She cried out as Zeus started moving.
"I only have a three-day window to get you pregnant," Zeus declared, his grip on her tightening.
"And I am not going to hold back."
And true to his word, Zeus. Did. Not. Hold. Back.
Every single drop of his seed, he made sure to release deep inside her.
By the time the fifth round came, Ceres was breathless, her body trembling.
"Love… too deep…" Ceres whispered, her voice trembling as she struggled to catch her breath, her body still shivering from the aftermath of Zeus filling her again.
Zeus smirked against her overheated skin, his fingers lazily tracing her stomach as if he could already feel the life he was determined to put inside her.
"It's going to be a boy," he murmured, his voice thick with satisfaction.
And then, he started again. And again. And again.
Hours passed.
Ceres lost count of how many rounds they had gone through.
The only thing she knew for sure was, they had completely missed the rehearsal dinner.
And it was almost 1 AM.
She was exhausted, her body weak from the sheer intensity of their lovemaking, yet Zeus showed no signs of stopping.
"Oh, God… love, no more," she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper as she tried to push him away.
Zeus only chuckled, his lips pressing against her bare shoulder as he spooned her from behind, his body still perfectly aligned with hers.
"But I'm not done yet," he murmured, trailing slow kisses along the curve of her shoulder.
Ceres groaned, disbelieving.
"Not yet done?" she asked, completely in shock.
"What do you want, triplets?!" she demanded. "And don't you ever get tired?"
Zeus grinned against her skin, nipping at her pulse.
"I can accept triplets," he mused, already picturing it in his head.
Ceres swore she could hear the excitement in his voice.
"And no, love," he whispered, pressing himself even closer, "I will never get tired of you. I'll slow down… after you give me ten children."
Ceres's eyes widened in horror.
"TEN?!"
She immediately turned her head to look at him, fully expecting to see him joking,
But his eyes were dead serious.
She swallowed hard.
"You're… serious?" she asked in disbelief.
"Of course." Zeus kissed the side of her head, completely unfazed.
"I've already planned everything," he declared proudly.
"Nine boys and the youngest will be a girl."
"Our only princess," he added in a final tone.
Ceres blinked at him.
"You… already planned all this?"
"Yup."
Zeus nodded as if this was a completely normal conversation.
"Except for the names," he admitted. "I want us to choose those together."
He kissed her temple again.
"But from the moment you see that positive pregnancy test until our daughter graduates college, I've already planned everything."
Ceres gaped at him.
"And because she'll be as beautiful as you," Zeus continued as if he wasn't dropping the most insane bombshell of her life, "she needs to be the youngest, the most protected, and she will be spoiled beyond belief, just like her mommy."
Ceres opened her mouth to say something, but Zeus wasn't finished.
"And if anyone is dumb enough to make her cry, " Zeus smirked darkly, "nine big brothers and one very protective daddy will break every single bone in that bastard's body."
He grinned wickedly.
"And we will do it smiling."
Ceres burst into laughter.
"When did you even plan all this?!" she demanded, still in shock.
Zeus leaned in, kissing her temple.
"Love," he murmured, completely serious. "I told you before, the first time I laid eyes on you, I already planned everything."
Ceres laughed even harder.
"Oh. My. God." She shook her head, still laughing. "My fiancé is absolutely crazy."
Zeus grinned.
"Not just crazy, love," he corrected, "I'm also thorough."
His hands started moving again, sliding down her stomach, lower,
And despite the way her body responded instantly, Ceres stood her ground.
"No more, love," she warned, grabbing his hands before he could continue.
"Tomorrow. I need to wake up early," she reminded him firmly.
"You know I get cranky when I don't sleep enough."
She smirked.
"Besides, I still have a wedding to ruin tomorrow."
Zeus groaned dramatically but finally gave in.
"Okay, okay," he sighed, though there was still a flicker of mischief in his eyes.
"Even though I still have so much left in me," he murmured teasingly, "I'll let you rest… for now."
He pulled her flush against him, wrapping his arms around her waist possessively.
"So you'll have enough energy for tomorrow's destruction," he added smugly.
Ceres rolled her eyes, but she nuzzled closer into his chest, her body already melting into his warmth.
Zeus tightened his hold on her, his voice lowering.
"I love you," he murmured softly.
Ceres, despite her exhaustion, smiled.
"I love you, too," she whispered back, before closing her eyes and letting sleep finally take her.
