'Danny...'
Aurora's lips trembled as she whispered his name. She wanted to run to him and tell him she was still alive. However, she dismissed the idea.
All she could do was express her sadness inwardly and attempt to soothe her overwhelming emotions.
As Aurora struggled to control her emotions, Danny suddenly stopped and gazed in her direction, causing her to freeze in shock at their eye contact.
"Who are you?" Danny asked, his expression puzzled.
He vividly remembered Renata saying she would close her restaurant for a week to mourn Aurora's death. But why was there a customer here? And why was she sitting at their favorite table?
Aurora pretended to be confused as she looked at Danny. However, her hands, hidden beneath the table, were tightly clenched, and her heart raced.
They exchanged a momentary stare until Renata emerged from behind the kitchen door. She was taken aback to see Danny standing near the entrance, blocking her way.
