"Alex, I think, well, I know... I should drive myself instead of having someone else drive me. Because that's the way I prefer."
When she saw him, he remained silent. She continued, "I'm worried that people will be curious about me because they all know I can't afford a chauffeur."
After a few seconds, a soft chuckle escaped his lips, but he still said nothing.
Knowing his personality, she couldn't bear the silence any longer. "Alex, I'm sorry to ask again... Your silence means you agree with me, right?" she said innocently.
"You're quite interesting, Aurora Spencer. How can you assume that my silence means agreement?" Alex shook his head, amused by the girl. "Of course, I don't agree."
Aurora's gaze gradually sparkled with happiness—successfully prompting him to speak—but she hid her smile.
She shook her head silently before saying, "Alex, why won't you let me drive? I can drive myself; I don't need a driver."
