Once upon a time, humans, elves, dwarves, vampires, and demons used to live in harmony on the same continent. Eventually, the continent became too small to house all of these species, so they embarked on a journey on the Great Blue Sea to find new continents. After years and years of searching, they found two new continents. The elves took one, and the demons and vampires took the other. The humans and dwarves remained on their original continent. For some time, there was peace among the nations, but as we all know, greed is a bottomless pit that never satisfies. Humans wanted more. They didn't think it was fair for the elves to get their own continent while they had to share one with the dwarves. So, they attacked the elves, hoping to defeat them and take them home. But the elves proved to be too powerful. They overpowered the humans, and after 20 years of fighting, the humans were defeated. Elves are generally a peace-loving species, so they offered humans peace and an alliance. They believed that soon the demons and vampires would attack just like the humans did. But the attack never came. Despite this, some humans thought this alliance with the elves was just a trick, while others accepted the truce. This caused the humans to split into two kingdoms; Kingdom Trothe and Kingdom Sehmal. From then on the three continents barely interacted.
