"What's he doing?" Xenovia asked Rias.
The two of them, along with Irina and Sona Sitri, were watching me analyze Excalibur Destruction.
"Honestly? I don't know..." said Rias, looking at me just as curious.
Fortunately for me, they couldn't see the floating screen in front of me , and I could only move these screens with my eyes. It was more practical to move them with my hands, but I couldn't do that in front of other people.
The Entity Store's flash sales were in full swing, just like the first time, and one thing I wanted to buy was an item that was on sale. When I looked up the name I remembered, I almost smiled when I saw that it was still on sale for the next 12 hours.

[Item: Everything Fits Bag]
Type: Cursed Item.
Description: A small leather pouch that seems to fit nothing but half a dozen gold coins, but which leads to another dimension – a place with infinite space. Technically, this little pouch can hold anything and in any quantity, but it can be temperamental.
Effects:
- Infinite Inventory
- This bag can be greedy with valuable items and refuse to give them back.
Cooldown: None.
Price: 900 credits.

[Do you want to buy the item 'Everything Fits Bag'? YES/NO].
This was an inventory item, and I would have preferred an inventory skill. However, no inventory skill was that cheap, nor did it have infinite space – at least not the ones that didn't cost tens of thousands of credits.
'Okay... I got the item I wanted. Now I'll go for the skill I saw.'
As I stood in front of that Teemo, tablet in hand, I saw so many skills on those lists that I would have liked to pick up but couldn't because of the limited amount of credits I had.
One of them was a skill called 'Da Vinci's Gaze'. Of course, this skill referred to Leonardo da Vinci, a man who was a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, architect, and many other things. Da Vinci was a genius in the literal sense of the word. Not only because his way of seeing the world was unique and beautiful, but also because he could analyze, understand, and learn with his eyes. That's why I wanted so much to have this ability...
+
[Skill: Da Vinci's Gaze].
Type: Ocular.
Description: To understand the beauty of things is also to understand what they are made of, how to make them, and how to replicate them in the most beautiful way possible. A picture of a lake is not beautiful just because someone painted a lake, but because of the paint used, the strokes, the brushstrokes, and the inspiration. To see is to understand, and to understand is to know how to make.
Effects:
- You will understand the structure of any item, song, or skill if you observe long enough.
- The more complicated the object of study, the longer it takes to understand it.
Cooldown: 1 day.
Price: 2300 credits.

Despite costing only 2300 credits, this was a skill that I considered to be extremely overpowered. Imagine understanding things just by observing them. Of course, for entities, this skill should be nothing more than a very rare human talent and therefore not as expensive as other very powerful skills.
For me, it was very useful to have something like this because I was in a mystical and supernatural world. This way, I could learn things that neither my transmigrated part nor Milicas understood yet.
'Like Holy Swords, for example…'
[You look at a Holy Sword.]
[You know the name of this sword: Excalibur Mimic.]
[Paying attention, you can feel that, even outside of battle, this sword emanates a holy aura.]
[You have obtained the Passive Skill 'Knower of Holy Swords lv1'!]
[From now on, you'll be able to perceive Holy Swords like this much more easily.]
Yes, that's what I suspected this skill did. A skill that technically gave me other skills. As I said: to analyze, understand, and learn with my eyes.
As much as the abilities I got through 'Da Vinci's Gaze' wouldn't make me defeat Trihexa with a snap of my fingers, it was very important for me to get stronger every day without depending on the benevolence of the entities sponsoring me with credits.
'After all, I've already realized that some entities never approve of my actions.'
[The entity 'The Firmament Exile' laughs out loud, not understanding why you bought a skill like this.]
'Entities that observe multiversal events as entertainment... To you, my normal ability to analyze things and the ability of a genius must not seem so different from up there.'
'So do it. Keep underestimating me. When I'm finished, I'll be one of you, and I'll laugh.'
"Khum..." Xenovia cleared her throat, snapping me out of my moment of pride. "Milicas-san, have you finished?"
I looked at them and pulled my hands away from the Excalibur Mimic. Of course, I'd like to analyze this sword further, gain more skills, and so on, but just being able to perceive a Holy Sword was enough for now.
"A-ah, yes, please, you can take it back." I said to Irina.
Irina took the Excalibur Mimic back from the table and had the sword transformed into a lasso, which was again tied to her left arm.
When we were all outside the Occult Research Club building and the meeting was officially over, Xenovia stopped halfway up the stairs, looked at me, and asked:
"What did you find out from analyzing Mimic?"
The tone of her question was direct, blunt. I answered truthfully.
"I… could only feel a stronger aura when I concentrated. It's like the feeling I get when I approach a church."
Xenovia seemed to believe me.
"Hmm... I think I've heard of something like that. But anyway, thank you for sharing your theories."
"And we also thank you for allowing us to continue our mission here." Irina said and she waved as she left.
"Uff... they've finally gone..."
The voice came from a nearby bush. When Rias, Sona, and I turned around, we saw Issei's head just above a bush, and then Asia and Gasper came out, with leaves stuck to their hair.
"What were you doing there?" exclaimed Rias.
"I-I was just curious about what they would say!" Issei tried to justify himself, raising his hands in surrender.
"S-Sorry, Rias-sama…!" Gasper muttered, avoiding eye contact.
"I only came because Issei-san insisted!" Asia added, looking at me.
Rias sighed while I held back a laugh. It was then that we heard more rustling sounds, this time to our right. The moment we turned around, we saw Makima, Tsubaki Shinra, and Saji emerge, looking much more composed than Issei and the others, but still clearly caught in the act.
When I saw a small twig in Makima's hair, that was too much for me. I laughed out loud.
Sona Sitri, who was still standing next to me, simply sighed.
"Tsubaki. Saji. Were you two spying on us too?"
Tsubaki kept her expression calm, although she was slightly flushed by the situation, and Saji scratched the back of his head.
"Well... technically, it wasn't my idea." Saji said, and Tsubaki's cheeks turned even redder.
"I see. You two, come with me." The student council president didn't look the least bit surprised, just slightly disappointed. "You're both going to be punished today."
Sona and the Student Council members walked away, and Makima came to my side.
However, before they left, Sona looked back and made an unexpected comment to me:
"By the way, Milicas, we didn't even have time to talk today, even though we finally met again after months... I have to say, you're a lot more mature than the last time we met."
"Really?" I put my hands in my pants pockets.
"Yes. It's a shame I couldn't make it to the last formal party at Gremory Manor, but I'll definitely come and watch your Rating Game against Diodora Astaroth."
I gave a faint smile and watched Sona leave with her friends.
'All that praise, yet I earned no relationship points with her. Something tells me that if I want to get the reward for winning her over through a confession of love, I'll have to climb a big mountain.'
