After a while, Morfeo woke up again to find himself in another place. But this time, it was different. He was in a beautiful field filled with blooming trees and flowers—it was spring in this place. In the middle of the field, there was a path, just like before. However, unlike the previous place, which was covered in darkness, this one was bright, with the sun shining high above.
But Morfeo wasn't paying attention to any of that. He was too shocked to notice because his clothes were covered in blood. Memories flooded his mind—he remembered seeing Ottavia being eaten alive by the monster, and he recalled how Ravena sacrificed herself to save him. The pain and anger inside him grew so intense that his eyes turned a deep shade of red.
As he looked into his own eyes, everything around him suddenly turned pitch black. There was no light, only burning trees surrounding him. Fear consumed him, and he began to hear the growls of the monster echoing around him. When he finally calmed down a little, he decided to focus on escaping this nightmare.
He started walking along the path. After a while, he noticed people standing in two lines on either side of the road. As he got closer, he realized they were all servants, lined up as if they were waiting for something—or someone. Just then, he heard a voice coming from his right:
"Are you sleeping again, Morfeo?"
It was Lilith's voice. She looked like a young woman around twenty-six years old, dressed in a wedding gown. She was holding his hand. Morfeo glanced down at himself and was stunned—he looked older and was wearing a wedding suit.
Lilith smiled at him and said, "Finally, after all this time, we're getting married."
Morfeo was so overwhelmed by everything happening that he started laughing hysterically. The servants around them began clapping and cheering as Lilith started leading him toward the Vittorio palace.
But as they walked, they suddenly stopped. Lilith turned to the servants and began thanking them for coming to the wedding. While she spoke, Morfeo looked around—something felt off. The light around them started to fade.
Morfeo looked up at the sun and was horrified—it was being consumed by a massive black figure, swallowing its light. Darkness spread everywhere, and even the servants began disappearing. He turned to Lilith in fear, only to find that darkness was surrounding her too. Her voice began to change—it became eerie and terrifying.
Her face lost all its light, turning into a dark void, and in a haunting voice, she whispered, "Run!!"
Morfeo was frozen in fear at the sight of Lilith's monstrous form. He immediately let go of her hand and started running toward the only remaining light—the place he had come from. Darkness was consuming everything around him, and when he looked back, there was nothing left but pure blackness.
He ran faster and faster, but then something strange happened. A sudden, unbearable pain shot through his head, as if his nerves were being torn apart. He collapsed to the ground, writhing in agony. After what felt like an eternity, the pain started to subside.
When he looked around, he was horrified—countless glowing purple eyes stared at him with pure hatred, anger, and bloodlust. But then, from a distance, a faint light began to shine. It slowly moved toward him, and as it got closer, the eyes vanished one by one, as if this light was their weakness.
When the light reached Morfeo, it took the form of a young boy, no older than thirteen. The boy gently placed his hand on Morfeo's face and reassured him. For a moment, Morfeo felt calm and safe, as if he had known this boy forever.
The boy looked at him and said, "Don't be afraid, Morfeo. I am always with you. Whenever your heart beats fast with fear, remember—I am here."
Morfeo was shocked. "How do you know my name?" he asked.
The boy didn't answer and continued speaking, "I will be with you, like your guardian angel… like the weapon you will use to fight the monster. Whenever you need me, just call my name, and I will be there in your fearful heart."
Morfeo, still in disbelief, asked, "What's your name?"
But before the boy could answer, his form turned back into pure light and began merging with Morfeo's heart. As the light entered him, the boy's voice echoed in his mind, "When you need me, your fearful heart will speak my name on its own."
Hearing those words filled Morfeo with newfound courage. He got up and started running, determined to escape the darkness. With every step he took, the ground beneath him lit up. The more he ran, the more the surrounding darkness transformed into glowing white light.
Eventually, everything around him was engulfed in pure, radiant light.
As he stopped to catch his breath, he noticed that he had returned to his normal self. He began walking toward the light, determined to leave this nightmare behind.
But then—he saw them.
His parents, Vaspera and Tradita, were walking hand in hand toward the light. His heart pounded. He shouted for them and ran toward them, but as he did, they let go of each other's hands and started walking in opposite directions.
Tears filled Morfeo's eyes. He screamed for them to stop. "Mom! Dad! Please wait! I'll come to you! Just stop walking away!"
Desperate, he ran toward his mother, crying, "Mom, please wait! I'll do anything! I'll be good! I'll love you forever! Just don't leave me!"
But Tradita didn't turn around. She kept walking toward the light.
Heartbroken, Morfeo turned toward his father. "Dad! Wait for me! I won't cause trouble anymore! I'll study hard! I'll make you proud! Just don't leave me!"
He thought his father wouldn't respond, but then Vaspera suddenly stopped and turned to look at him.
Morfeo's face lit up with hope—until he saw something behind his father.
His expression turned to horror.
A monster.
The creature crept closer to Vaspera, and Morfeo screamed, trying to warn him. But it was too late. The monster drove its claws into Vaspera's chest.
Morfeo watched in horror as the beast tore his father's head off while he was still alive, his screams echoing through the void.
That was the final blow.
Morfeo collapsed. He couldn't move. The darkness returned, swallowing everything. This time, he didn't fight it. He surrendered to the abyss.
As he lay there, the monster turned to him, its blood-red eyes locked onto him. It started running toward him.
But Morfeo didn't resist. He simply stared at the monster, unmoving.
He closed his eyes, ready to accept his fate. But then—
His heart began to race.
The boy's words echoed in his mind.
Summon me.
Morfeo tried to say the boy's name but he couldn't.
The monster was getting closer.
His heartbeat grew louder.
It was almost upon him.
Five meters.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One—
Morfeo finally managed to shout the boy's name.
A voice answered in his mind: "You must wake up—now!"
—
Morfeo's eyes snapped open.
It was just a dream.
Tears streamed down his face as he ran out of his room, searching for someone—anyone.
He ran through the halls until he reached the last place he could check. When he opened the door, he found everyone gathered in one place, their faces filled with sadness. His mother, Tradita, was crying, and his father looked deeply sorrowful.
When they saw him standing there, their expressions turned to pure shock, as if they had witnessed a miracle.
Morfeo saw them all, alive and well. Overwhelmed, he burst into tears and ran into their arms. They embraced him tightly as if they hadn't seen him in ten years.
Tradita held him close, sobbing. "I thought I lost you forever."
When everyone calmed down, the doctor checked on Morfeo. It turned out he had been asleep for three days straight. The servants had tried to wake him, but he wouldn't wake up. Ottavia was called to help, but even she failed. When the doctor arrived, he diagnosed Morfeo as being in a coma.
His mother had stayed by his side for two whole days until she collapsed from exhaustion.
Now, seeing him awake, everyone was overjoyed.
Vaspera ordered the servants to prepare a grand celebration. As everyone dispersed, Morfeo returned to his room.
Just as he was about to rest, there was a knock at his door.
When he opened it, he found his mother standing there.
"Mom? What is it?" he asked.
She hesitated before saying, "From now on, I'll be sleeping with you."
Morfeo didn't mind.
He had made up his mind—he would change for the better, so he would never lose the people he loved.
But , Is what Morfeo saw the entire dream or is there a missing part?
