The moment Yuri walked inside the academy, the first thing he noticed is that the insides is like a palace of a royal family. The amount of expensive furnitures are so many that he can't even count it, not even to mention the interior and the maids and butlers that was working here is good.
Not nice because he's pretty sure that some of them judges a student or a person based on their social status or looks, if they looked ugly or looked poor, they will treat them very differently compared to the other students that looked more noble.
It is not surprising for it to happen.
Even on earth, a lot of people judged other people based on the amount of work you can do and how much money you have. The course you finished, and the job you have and how much it pays you.
'if I remember correctly, it is said that the opening ceremony is gonna be operated at main hall right?'
He walked around the whole place, trying to find where the main hall is. The other people, especially women's are looking at him.
That's no wonder.

He said, as he enters one of the room. He just seated on one of the chairs from the very back because once the ceremony started, the very front is either gonna get more attention or the seats of important people.
Plus, the very end seats is like where he was currently standing at. No need to go all the way from the front in order to just flex something ro prove to others that you are richer and has more fame.
"Let's just sit here-- ugh!" He grunt as he accidentally sit too fast.
His wounds that he gets from trying to defeat the mantis and the amount of explosions he experienced from that cave is a lot!
But fortunately for him, his body gets more stronger and more durable. He was able to tank a lot of falling and explosions even though he was just a few meters away.
'tssk.... I barely even defeated that mantis....'

Back when Yuri was fighting that giant mantis, he throw the explosive knife to the ground between him and the mantis.
As expected, the explosion is massive and very destructive. Almost half of the whole cave is destroyed but still, in the middle of all that, they kept on fighting.
"Ahhhhhh!!!!"
He kept on screaming as he swings his sword, trying to hit the mantis even once. He of course didn't but that's only when that mantis didn't trip to one of the knives that Yuri planted in the ground.

once again, he got thrown from the rocks and kept on bouncing from rocks to rocks that it even broke some of his bones.
His shoulder was dislocated and his foot is already starting to feel numb because of the consecutive moving with no time of peace or rest.
His consciousness is almost fading away but he still can't give up, he wants to add more on his Mana Percentage Collection.
To do that, he needs to risk his own life just to add more. The more percentage he wants, the stronger the opponents he needed to fight and kill.
He placed his left hand on his right side and then forced himself to stand up, his katana that flew away from him about 3 meters away was stabbed inside a rock.
He took it out and then also took his katana as he walked towards the mantis who already lost 4 of it's legs, one of it's raptorial claw was also cut of.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that I managed to cut your arm of before the explosion happens." Yuri says, limping, but still managed to talk when something reminds him of that.
With his remaining strength, he run towards the Mantis and cut of it's head.
He turned his back, and then slowly take the two more knives he placed. Tha thankfully, it still didn't explode even though the ground is literally shaking and the two knives was just near each other.
Although not that near, he still managed to pick it up. He walked towards the exit of this caved where he finds light, the sound of the birds and the human of the wind. The colorful environment and the fresh breathable air welcomes him as he takes a look outside.
A step.
Not even a single step when he felt something that wrapped around his waist and then threw him inside this dark cave.
He once again got thrown into the pit of dying after getting thrown at the solid rocks, it felt like another bone broke because of the crack he just heard coming from one of his arm.
He felt glad when he found our that it was just another dislocated arm, the very same arm but instead of the shoulder, it's in the elbow.
"Fuck..... Fuck... Ahhhhh..... AHHHH!!!!!"

He manages to fixed his dislocated shoulder and his dislocated elbow, it only took him about 3 seconds of immense pain in the process and about a eternal pain after the process.
The mantis that was still moving, even after it was beheaded.

"You are a mantis..... Mantis's can still move even after they are beheaded."
Mantis's has a unique trait where if their head were beheaded, they can still move. It is when they are mating with a female mantis, the female mantis will eat the head of the female mantis while in the process of mating.
Some of the mantis's can still mate with the female mantis even after they're head were beheaded and the female mantis will continue to eat the male until they are done.
"We're not mating..... You fuck...."
That's actually weird to say but alright.
He almost has no strength but he continues, he run and run, he tried his best but fall into the ground.
The mantis, looks confused but then also slowly crawling towards Yuri to eat him. It only has 2 remaining legs, it can't work normally anymore after getting that much damage.
Even though it's agile, it's durability is not good enough to tank such an explosion. The most tactics of these types of species is to hit and run until they're prey's are tired and launched a full blown attack.
But since Yuri is weak for this mantis, it just casually dodged every single attacks and swings of Yuri's katana. It didn't even think about the other variables, causing for it to suffer such a huge price.
It finally manages to go to Yuri's direction, it didn't even bother to hold a part of his body to keep it from leaving to in case it is still alive. It is very weak right now that it feels like it needed to eat, that's why it suffers more big price.
"Caught you."
Yuri takes out his hand from his pocket, it shows his hand with a knife that explodes!
It is one of the daggers that he took when he got thrown away because this mantis throw him to where the dagger was laying! Yuri was just lucky enough to get it.
He planned on playing dead to let it's guard down and also pretend that he dropped his katana and then just die all of a sudden, just for this very moment.
He gets on top of the mantis and then kept on stabbing it. When it finally make a hole on it's chest, he grabbed his katana really quick and then just kept on stabbing it again and again.
Every single one of his stabbed penetrated til the very end of this mantis's back that the tip of his katana hit the ground.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
He once again kept on stabbing until he was covered in blood, the dark blue blood he saw whenever he hunts some creature from this world.
After a few minutes of just stabbing, he finally stopped and then with all the remaining strength he has, he stand up but falls to the ground.
His eye lids is getting more heavy and his consciousness was already going away.
He used his Instant Action ability that it almost completely drained him to the very last drop of his mana.

It has been a week but he still hasn't yet fully recovered, his wounds is sealed but he can feel that he needed more rest. Unlike what he did just two days right after he defeated the guy that tried to kill him.
"Should I confront that girl..."
He was talking about Aila. He last seen that guy with Aila because it was Aila's butler. He was also wondering on why would that girl sent someone to kill him, is it because they bumped into each other?
'no..... It doesn't seem like that because the way that guy talked to me, i can tell it was a personal grudge.....'
A lot of things entered his mind, he tried to process everything with his half fried brain. It was still tired after two weeks because of the amount of explosions he consecutively tanked.

After a few minutes of sleeping, he can feel his brain already feeling relaxed and thoroughly getting it's time to rest but.....
Once again, the pitch black sight he was looking at was suddenly replaced with the field of flowers, The relaxing and refreshing wind that runs through each one of them. He can finally feel it again....

"Yuri....."
A beautiful voice he won't forget, the most relaxing voice other than his mother, that's the most beautiful face and voice he ever heard in his entire life.
