The lethal effect damage was successfully negated, but Jiang You was left with only a single, solitary [Castle of Snow] on the field.
"Well then, I shall end my turn."
Beast always spoke to Jiang You with a respectful tone.
"As expected of my dear... But do you have a way to break through my defenses?"
Beast gazed at Jiang You, her golden beast-like pupils gleaming ominously beneath her veil. She licked her lips and swayed her tail, opening her arms toward him.
"Why don't I embrace you instead? Come rest in my arms—I will grant you the most exquisite dream."
Jiang You took an involuntary step back as his eyes fell on the soft tufts of fur covering Beast's chest.
[Beast IV] had formidable resistances—even [Romulus Quirinus] could not break through directly.
Jiang You did have a way to overcome this, which relied on [Justeaze], but every Servant in his Graveyard had already been banished by Beast. Even if she hadn't, [Painful Choice] would have resulted in all of them being removed from play anyway.
What's more, [Justeaze] was already in the banished zone. Even if he had a way to manipulate the banished zone, summoning her was impossible.
He had barely survived the last attack, but just as Beast said—there was no way to break through.
A Duelist must trust in their deck, but even a Destiny Draw would reveal no hope of victory here. This was an absolute deadlock.
Perhaps… he should just surrender and start over? After all, it was just a game.
"I'm truly at a dead end here. Alright, I conce—"
Just as Jiang You was about to raise his hand in surrender, a voice stopped him.
"Caster!"
It was the voice of a young boy. Jiang You wasn't familiar with it, but there was only one boy he knew here.
"Waver? What are you doing here?"
Jiang You looked at the approaching Waver in confusion.
"We came to support you—not just me and my teacher!"
Waver gestured toward the massive crowd behind him.
"Everyone is here!"
"Hmph↑ My Servant is fighting in this battle—how could I, as his Master, not lend a hand? The feat of saving the world would make quite the addition to my credentials."
Even Lord El-Melloi—Kayneth—had come to aid him. Because Jiang You had initiated the Duel, all the monsters and clones had stopped spawning, giving everyone a brief respite.
Though, it seemed there wasn't much room left for him to intervene now.
Kiritsugu Emiya, exhausted but determined, nodded at Jiang You. He had planted explosives in the vicinity, his final, albeit minor, contingency plan.
"Thanks to your Noble Phantasm, most of the survivors made it through. They're grateful to you. Originally, we planned to duel and stall other enemies to help you, but with how things are now, that's impossible. So at the very least, let them lend you their voices!"
Waver glanced at the solemn expressions of the gathered Servants—he could tell Jiang You was at his limit.
"I promised the King of Conquerors that I would carry on his legend. So, don't lose here!"
"Caster! Don't lose!"
"Fight for the fallen, Caster!"
"You can do it, Caster!"
"Caster!"
"Caster…!"
"Caster…!"
The survivors' cries rang through the battlefield. They had endured hell and knew the value of hope. In their direst moment, Jiang You had used his Noble Phantasm to give them the power to resist. They didn't know his real name, but they all called out to him, placing their hopes in him.
"Caster!"
Romulus spread his arms wide.
"Rome shall believe in you until the very end!"
"Master!"
A maskless Hundred Faces bowed deeply toward Jiang You.
"Every one of us 'Hundred Faces' shall follow you to the last moment. No matter what you choose, our existence is for you alone!"
"Jiang You!"
Illyasviel called his name directly, clutching her small hands tightly over her chest.
"You promised to come back and help me ten years from now—don't give up!"
"Good grief..."
Jiang You gazed at the people calling his name. The sheer authenticity of the scene struck a chord within him. He wouldn't let this cutscene go to waste—he would see this duel to the very end.
"Let's bring this duel to its conclusion—win or lose."
At the very moment his fingers touched his deck, a voice called out from the depths of his soul.
It was a sensation far stronger than his Destiny Draw—by a hundredfold.
It felt as though there was a single card in his deck that was his flesh and blood—a true extension of himself. The embodiment of all hope.
"The affected entity shall generate a corresponding deck based on its legend and potential."
This was a line from Jiang You's Noble Phantasm.
That meant… this was the card that belonged to Jiang You, the Heroic Spirit!
"A card from beyond the deck… Beast, you once said this was fate, right?"
Jiang You gripped his deck. His Destiny Draw connected to the card that was truly his. Gold, red, and blue light coiled around his fingertips.
Mana surged wildly—far beyond the total capacity of the leyline. A massive surge of energy condensed in his hand, thick enough to feel as though time itself had halted. Only when Jiang You drew the card did time begin to move again.
"Then, this is fate's inevitability! My turn—Draw!"
"I activate the Spell Card [The Arrival Beyond Dimensions]! This card's activation cannot be negated! When activated, it Special Summons as many banished Servants as possible, ignoring their summoning conditions! This summoning is treated as a proper summon!"
(TL Note: Simular to "Return From The Different Dimension" but stronger.)
The card's artwork depicted a black-haired youth striding through the void, countless worlds drifting around him.
"Come, Heroic Spirits! This is the battle to save the world!"
Jiang You held the card high, and the Heroic Spirits answered his call, descending like falling stars!
[Justeaze] ATK: 0. [Romulus Quirinus] ATK: 4000. [Jeanne d'Arc] ATK: 2500. [Illyasviel (Dress of Heaven)] ATK: 2500 → 2000. [Gilgamesh] ATK: 3000.
"Due to [Justeaze]'s effect, [Non-Human Domain] will be banished!"
Now, Beast had only her own card remaining on the field.
[Justeaze] ATK: 0 → 500. [Illyasviel (Dress of Heaven)] ATK: 2000 → 3000.
"My, my... how terrifying."
Beast stopped swaying her tail as she took in the overwhelming lineup before her. But she kept up her bravado.
"Still, they won't break through my defenses!"
"No, you've already lost!"
Jiang You shook his head slightly before continuing his move.
"[Justeaze]'s effect allows her to copy another Servant's ability. And the Servant I'm choosing to copy is—"
"[Beast IV]!"
[Justeaze] ATK: 500 → 0.
Beast's already pale skin turned even paler. She knew exactly what was coming.
"You wouldn't—!?"
"That's right! [Justeaze] attacks [Beast IV]! She now shares your ability—both of our banishment effects will activate simultaneously!"
A golden Holy Grail emerged from Justeaze's chest, its warm golden glow enveloping both her and Beast as they were banished together.
Beast returned to the main zone—she had no counterplay left.
"Now, with a total of 11,100 attack points, Beast, take it all! Our dance ends here!"
As countless golden spears rained down, Beast let out a final, anguished wail.
□□ LP: 1000 → 0!
