The loud bang of her father's hand slamming against the table sent a sharp jolt through Sandy's chest,making her heart jump to her throat. As her pulse spiked,racing sharply.her shaky gaze locked on him.
"So you have been lying to my face all this time,Sandra?" Mr. King's voice was razor-sharp,sending a shiver through her spine.his eyes blazing with anger.
Sandy swallowed hard pushing down the sudden lump lodging at the back of her throat. "No daddy,I never lied. I just didn't tell you. Those are two different things," she said,her lips shaking as she spoke. From the corner of her eye, she caught Ivy and Frank's smirks widening.
Those two planned this. Sandy thought,as rage surged through her veins like wild fire.
"Don't you dare talk back to me, young lady." Her father's angry voice echoed through the dining room, making her shrink back.
