Derrick's POV
The kiss was rough, demanding, a collision of anger, frustration, and need. For a moment, he froze, his hands pressed against my chest as if to push me away. Then, just as quickly, he melted into the kiss, his fingers curling into my skin.
I pulled him closer, his body sliding against mine beneath the water. The heat of his bare skin ignited a fire I could no longer contain. My hands found his waist, gripping him firmly as I deepened the kiss.
His resistance was gone, replaced by a hunger and desire that mirrored my own.
"Nat," I groaned against his lips, my voice heavy with need. "Mine, you are mine."
He pulled back just enough to look at me, his eyes dark with desire and a flicker of hate. "You are wrong. I'm not yours," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He was obviously trying to annoy me, and he was sure doing a good job of it.
"Damn you," I grunted, my hands sliding up his back. "But you are here with me. No one else."
