The car's door opened, and Kade stepped out. In another one of his fancy suits, of course.
Had he still been awake? Or did he get changed before chasing after Felix? Or did he simply sleep in a suit?
…No, that notion was too ridiculous, even for a filthy rich, dumb Alpha.
Either way, looking annoyingly good as always, Kade looked around, assessing the situation.
"I leave you alone for a moment, and you instantly get in trouble?" he said eventually with a sigh, shaking his head in exasperation. Exasperation that wasn't believable at all, because of the amused smile playing on his lips.
