Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: The Rogue Administrator

System Disruption Detected

In the aftermath of Leon's first divine decree, harmony began to spread across the multiverse. Minor conflicts ceased. Old quests recalibrated. Forgotten players were granted new paths.

But peace never comes without resistance.

A crack echoed through the System's deepest layer—a rejection of the Decree of Worth. Not from the abyssal null… but from within the System's own hierarchy.

> [Alert: System Resistance Detected]

[Origin: High Administrator "Kael'Tharos – Arbiter of Purity"]

[Status: Rogue. Rejection of Core Law. Preparing Rebellion.]

Leon's eyes narrowed as he stood before the System map. Thousands of interlinked realms pulsed softly—except one. Realm 17-BLAK, a former bastion of Order, was now in full lockdown.

Kael'Tharos was not just a high-level Administrator—he was one of the original Guardians of the old order. An ancient being who believed only the strong deserved power, and weakness was a disease to be purged.

---

The Realm of Purity

Leon descended into Kael'Tharos's domain alone. No armies. No heralds. Only his cloak of sovereign light and the sword forged from the Lawforge itself—Epitaph.

The realm was beautiful—eerily so. Crystal towers, floating sanctuaries, perfect beings walking in synchronized harmony. But beneath the surface, the truth bled through:

Weak children locked away for "retraining."

Souls deleted for "non-compliance."

Entire cities "cleansed" because they were deemed unworthy of advancement.

At the heart stood Kael'Tharos—radiant, winged, in armor blessed by ancient codes, his back to Leon.

> "You desecrate perfection, Leon," Kael spoke without turning. "You elevate the weak. Reward the unworthy. You insult the System's purity."

Leon walked forward, the realm reacting to his presence—code bending, rules warping, purity shattering.

> "I give them a chance," Leon replied calmly. "That is the difference between a god… and a tyrant."

Kael turned, his once calm face twisted in divine fury.

> "Then let's see whose judgment the System truly honors."

---

The Duel of Decrees

With a clash of systems, the realm broke into a field of divine combat.

Kael launched Purity Protocols, summoning weaponized scripts that erased flaws, modified time, and bent matter into obedient forms.

Leon countered with Truth Constructs, reality-forged barriers that upheld freedom, weaving together possibility, protection, and evolution.

Every strike between them echoed across layers of reality.

Administrators across the System paused, watching the clash in awe.

Players across galaxies felt their abilities fluctuate.

God fought God.

Law fought Law.

And in the heart of it, Leon whispered something only Kael could hear:

> "I don't fight to win… I fight so others have a chance to."

With a final strike of Epitaph, Kael's System core fractured.

---

Judgment Passed

Kael fell to his knees, his power collapsing. The System's core paused as Leon stood over him, blade humming.

> "Do it," Kael spat. "Erase me. Like the weak you protect."

Leon stared at him. Then turned away.

> "You've already erased yourself."

The System reacted.

Beyond the Rift

But as Leon returned to the Nexus, a dark pulse echoed across the void.

The Null Entity had watched. Had waited.

And now that the System turned inward, vulnerable and shaken…

It began to invade.

> [Alert: Incoming Anomaly from Outside the System]

[Designation: VOID-0 – The First Forgotten One]

The Forgotten One Awakens

The Void Stirs

Far beyond the bounds of mapped reality—past the edges of time, law, and light—something ancient stirred. It had no name, no form, only a hunger so vast it fractured space with its breath.

> [Designation: VOID-0]

[Class: Primordial Anomaly]

[Origin: Pre-System]

[Threat Level: ∞]

VOID-0 was not just an entity. It was a concept that had been discarded before the System's birth—a remnant of chaos that had once tried to consume creation before the first Administrators sealed it beyond the End Gates.

But now…

Leon's Decree had awakened long-buried echoes—cries for help, justice, and truth—and those echoes had brushed against the outer dark.

VOID-0 had heard.

And VOID-0 had answered.

---

The Cracking Skies

In Sector-09, a peaceful player realm named Velatrix, the sky suddenly shattered. Not metaphorically. The sky broke open like glass, revealing a swirling hole of darkness behind it.

> [System Message: Dimensional Integrity Compromised]

[UNKNOWN PRESENCE DETECTED]

[Evacuation in Progress… FAILED]

From that rift, shadow tendrils spread—draining color, code, and sound from everything they touched. Level 300 dungeon bosses were erased mid-roar. Towns turned to gray ash. People fell into nothingness, their souls not even recorded.

In under one hour, an entire continent ceased to exist.

---

The Call to Assemble

Back in the Core Nexus, Leon received the emergency transmission. It wasn't a message. It was a scream—the collective fear of an entire world silenced in seconds.

He stood, silent and composed, as the screen flickered:

> "VOID-0 is breaking through. We're not prepared."

Leon turned to his command interface and summoned the Council of Origins—a legendary group of entities formed from the oldest surviving Systems:

Sireen, the Chrono-Architect.

Darak Vol, the Celestial Beast.

Nyxian, the Shadow Weaver.

And finally, Aeris Valtor, the last surviving Administrator from the System's foundation era.

They appeared as holographic projections, each reacting in stunned silence.

> "This… this is worse than a System Reboot," Nyxian whispered.

"This is annihilation."

Leon nodded.

> "We cannot fight VOID-0 with power alone. We need to prepare. Strategize. Unify."

---

The Legacy Protocol

From his throne, Leon unlocked the most ancient function of the Supreme Administrator:

> [Activating Legacy Protocol: Summon the Forgotten Heroes]

The System trembled. Deep beneath the code, hidden records of powerful players, kings, mages, and even monsters who had once sacrificed everything were reawakened.

Across dimensions, tombs split open. Lost swords rose. Old champions blinked into existence.

Heroes like:

Riven the Blade Saint, who once severed a god's head with a level 1 sword.

Kaeya Flamebrand, who chose exile over conquest.

Zereth, the Systemless, a man who never had an interface—but defeated those who did.

And many more.

Leon called them with one message:

> "I have given the forgotten a voice. Now I call upon the fallen to rise."

---

The Beginning of the End

As darkness spread, Leon stood on the edge of the Nexus, watching the crack in space grow.

Behind it, two red eyes slowly opened in the void.

Not just watching.

Smiling.
