First of all, I want to thank all of you for your support! This was my first attempt at writing, so I'm really glad that some of you genuinely enjoyed the story.
Now, to address some of your comments: Insert is not Nanika, nor is he a creature from the Dark Continent—he is a human. And in Hunter x Hunter, humans are far from the apex predators. Even the strongest among them can only hope to survive when faced with the horrors of the Dark Continent.
Because he is human, he can't just wish his way to power. Growth takes time, and most people, even those with ambition, struggle with laziness and fear of consequences when thrown into a new world. That's why a steady approach is better.
He says he wants to be the strongest, but does he really? He's in the body of a child, so he'll get easily distracted and probably won't plan much.
This isn't a serious fanfiction novel, so don't expect anything deeply methodological. It's going to be more comedy-based. I wanted to write a story that feels more like the beginning of Luffy's adventures—where he met dragons and fought clowns—rather than an Emperor Luffy who's taking down Kaido and leading a world revolution.
I do use ChatGPT, but mainly for punctuation and grammar since I'm not great at that. English is my third language, so I struggle with it a bit.
Overall, this story will lean more toward slice-of-life chapters rather than intense fights or serious struggles.
For those who suggested giving him nanobots or a guardian to protect himself, I do plan to write about a similar power. However, I want to keep the price system consistent. While wishing will become less costly over time as his Nen capacity increases, there are still limits.
For example, he got a cheat phone in two months and a compass in eleven days—if he had wished for the compass earlier, it probably would have taken sixteen days instead. So yes, he's getting stronger, but something like an Iron Man-level suit would take around 4 years to obtain. And reaching Meruem-level power? That would take about 30 years—meaning he'd have to live without Nen for half his life.
So don't expect him to wish for something that overpowered anytime soon.
To wrap this up, I truly appreciate all your comments—good or bad—and I hope you continue reading. Thank you all!
