The Titan's corpse still crackled with energy, its massive frame lying in ruins.
The room was silent.
Then—
> "We need to move."
Serra's voice snapped everyone back to reality.
Ryo exhaled slowly, his muscles still thrumming from the Limiter Override. His body was healing itself, but he could feel the strain.
Karin sheathed her knife, still grinning. "We just took down a goddamn Titan. What's next, a Hellion warship?"
Vos slung his rifle over his shoulder. "Don't give them ideas."
Krieg stretched, rolling his shoulders. "So where's the exit?"
Serra pointed to a reinforced blast door at the far end of the chamber.
> "Hellion always has a backdoor."
Ryo cracked his knuckles.
> "Then let's kick it down."
Hellion's Response
The system pinged.
> [ALERT: HELLION HIGH COMMAND NOTIFIED.]
[PRIORITY RESPONSE FORCE INBOUND.]
Ryo's jaw tightened.
They weren't running anymore.
They had Hellion's full attention now.
And that meant war was coming.
Breaking Out
Serra hacked the blast door's console, overriding the security failsafe.
The door slammed open, revealing a maintenance tunnel leading out of the facility.
Karin peered inside. "Looks clear."
Vos frowned. "It won't be for long."
Ryo stepped forward.
> "Then let's make sure we get ahead of them."
The team moved out, weapons ready.
Hellion wanted a war?
They were about to get one.
