They spent the night in the cave, but there was no such thing as restful sleep. The black clouds still loomed outside, the acid rain had stopped after a while, but a strange smell filled the air, making it hard to breathe.
Luna woke up early, pinching her nose. "Why does it smell so weird in here?"
Fayra sniffed the air and immediately jumped to her feet. "This is bad, really bad! This smell comes from a natural gas spreading through the ground in this area! If we stay too long, we'll pass out!"
Ethan, still half-asleep, rubbed his eyes and grumbled, "So I can't even get a decent nap?"
Alice snapped, "If we don't leave right now, you'll be napping forever!"
They quickly gathered their belongings and rushed outside. The ground was still damp, but at least the acidic fumes were gone. However, the path ahead was no longer the same. The road shown on Fayra's map had completely changed!
Selena studied the map carefully, her brows furrowed. "A magical force has altered the route. But I have no idea how this happened!"
Luna, still uneasy, asked, "So… what now? Are we lost?"
Fayra gave a strange smile. "Not exactly. We just have to take a new path… but this one might be even more dangerous!"
Falling into Darkness – Escape from Death!
The bridge kept trembling. The others, still on the far side, had no way to help!
Fayra shouted, "Damn it, this bridge could collapse any second! We need to find a way out, fast!"
Selena frowned and said, "We have one way."
Luna held her breath, her eyes locked on them.
Alice, still stranded on the shaking bridge, cried out in panic, "If there's a way, please do it before we die!"
Fayra glanced at Ethan and grinned. "Well, I think it's time you saw the truth!"
All at once, the girls' eyes glowed, and their bodies began to change. Their skin cracked, revealing radiant scales underneath. Massive horns grew from their heads, and enormous wings burst from their backs!
In mere seconds, three majestic dragons stood before Ethan and Alice, whose eyes were wide with shock!
Ethan, his jaw practically on the floor, could only whisper, "Well… this was definitely not what I expected."
Alice, her eyes widened in disbelief, stammered, "You… you're dragons?!"
Luna, now in her icy dragon form, spread her wings and smirked. "Why did you think we were just an ordinary group of girls?"
Fayra, in her fiery dragon form, grinned with pride. "Now, get on, before this damned bridge completely falls apart!"
Ethan and Alice didn't hesitate. They quickly climbed onto Fayra and Luna's backs—just as the last ropes of the bridge snapped, sending the wooden planks plunging into the abyss!
Selena, now a stunning emerald dragon, soared into the sky and roared, "Nothing can stop us now! Let's go!"
The three dragons sped across the chasm, the powerful winds whipping around them as Ethan and Alice desperately tried to keep their balance!
Ethan, still in shock, yelled, "So you always had this ability and never said anything?!"
Fayra laughed. "Don't ask—just enjoy the ride!"
And with that, they soared through the skies with an unstoppable grace and power, leaving their past behind and flying toward an uncertain destiny…
Into the Sky – Passing Through the Deadly Tornado!
The fierce wind roared between the dragons' massive wings, carrying the terrifying howls of the abyss below. But their troubles were far from over!
Alice, gripping Luna's mane tightly, spoke with a trembling voice, "Okay… so we didn't fall… but where exactly are we going?"
Fayra, leading the flight, flapped her enormous wings and replied, "Somewhere we can trap this darkness forever. But first, we need to get through this damn tornado!"
Ethan, sitting on Fayra's back, looked up in surprise. At that moment, thick black clouds loomed ahead, and a massive tornado twisted violently in their path!
Selena, flying beside them, said with concern, "This isn't normal… that storm isn't natural!"
Luna smirked. "So what? We're three dragons—a little storm can't stop us!"
Ethan, now completely worried, shouted angrily, "Why is it that every time you see something dangerous, you decide to fly straight into it?!"
Fayra yelled back, "Because we don't have a choice! If we go around, we'll lose too much time, and that dark version inside me might get stronger!"
Before anyone could protest, they dove straight into the storm!
Chaos in the Tornado
The moment they entered, the wind struck them so hard that their balance wavered!
Alice screamed, "I don't wanna die inside a tornado!"
Ethan clung to Fayra for dear life, holding his breath. Thunder rumbled around them, and a blinding bolt of lightning cracked through the clouds, barely missing them!
Selena shouted, "If we keep going like this, one of us is going to get struck by lightning!"
Luna's eyes gleamed. "Then we go higher!"
But suddenly, the tornado itself twisted around them!
The wind pulled them in, and the air pressure grew stronger by the second. Fayra, struggling to stay in control, spun in midair—sending Ethan flying off her back!
As he tumbled through the air, he could only scream, "DAAAMN IIIIT!!!"
Alice's eyes widened in horror. "Ethan's falling!!"
Selena dived at full speed, trying to change his trajectory, but the storm kept pulling him down!
Luna yelled, "Someone do something, or we're gonna lose this idiot!"
Ethan stretched out his arm as far as he could, barely managing to grab onto one of Fayra's horns—but the force was too strong, and his grip slipped!
At that critical moment, Selena swiftly wrapped her tail around Ethan's waist, catching him just in time!
Ethan, gasping for air, groaned, "I think… I've had enough heart attacks for one day…"
Fayra, still fighting the winds, let out a breath and shouted, "Alright—time to break through this thing!"
With a sudden burst, she unleashed massive flames around her. Luna followed with a freezing ice storm, while Selena summoned a powerful gust of wind—ripping the tornado apart!
The storm shuddered, and just when it seemed like they'd be swallowed whole, they broke through—finally emerging into the clear, open sky!
Alice, still in shock, stared at them with wide eyes. "You… you guys are literally a walking disaster force!"
Ethan could only sigh and mutter under his breath, "If I survive this, I swear I'm figuring my life out once and for all…"
Their journey was far from over—but at least, this time, they had escaped death…
