"We need the Lycan council on our side, fast." Lady Selene told Darius. 


Darius was quiet. His eyes were still glued to the door where Kael had just walked out from. 


"I told you this was a bad idea…" Darius started to say. 


"I can't sleep, also. Are you aware that I have been having nightmares since father died?" He added. 


"Be a man! Did you want your undeserving twin brother to become the Supreme Alpha? There's a sacrifice for everything we need…" Lady Selene said. 


"And I sacrificed my father for my ambition…" Lord Darius was saying, but Lady Selene cut him short. 


"Hush! Don't let the walls hear you…" Lady Selene looked around as she spoke those words. 


"I will ask my father to talk to the council. They have to make you the Supreme Alpha as soon as possible." Lady Selene was not holding back. 


She started to leave as soon as she told her husband, Darius what they should do.
