Hampton Jr. and his friends arrived at the Dante's residence, and Joan came running out to greet them. She flung her arms around Jr.'s neck, but he quickly pushed her away, handing her a large polythene bag of meat.
"Here, take this," he said brusquely, before turning to get back into the car.
Joan's face fell, and she looked at Jr. with a mixture of shock and annoyance. She called out to the chef to come and collect the meat, and then she stormed back into the house, stamping her foot in frustration.
As Jr. drove away, he couldn't help but think that he had just made a bit of a scene. But he didn't care - he wasn't interested in playing games with Joan or any of the other girls.
As they made their way to the next house, Jr. wondered if the reception would be any different. But when they arrived at the Alexandre's residence, Angelina greeted him in a similar way, only to be rebuffed by Jr.'s distant demeanor.
The same thing happened at the Kelly's and the Dugan's residences. Jr. delivered the meat, exchanged a few brief words, and then left without making any effort to engage with the girls.
As they drove back to the villa, Alex and Joshua couldn't help but tease Jr. about his lack of interest in the girls.
"Dude, you're like a robot or something," Alex joked. "Don't you ever get tired of being so serious all the time?"
Jr. just rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Hey, someone's got to keep things real around here," he said with a grin.
When they arrived back at the villa, Jr. called his father to let him know that he had delivered the meat. His father asked him how it had gone, but Jr. quickly brushed him off, citing his fatigue and the upcoming business trip.
His father seemed to accept this, and Jr. was able to end the call without having to go into too much detail.
As he hung up the phone, Jr. couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. He was glad to be done with the meat delivery, and he was looking forward to focusing on his business trip.
