As Jr. continued to review the documents, Joshua and Alex worked diligently beside him, making notes and asking questions to clarify any points they were unsure about.
The three of them worked in silence for several hours, only taking a break when Jr. looked up at the clock and realized it was almost time for the meeting with the department managers.
"Alright guys, let's get going," Jr. said, gathering his papers and standing up. "We don't want to keep the department managers waiting."
Joshua and Alex nodded, following Jr. out of the office and down to the conference room.
As they walked, Jr. couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had worked hard to prepare for this business trip, and he was confident that he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
The meeting with the department managers was a blur of presentations and discussions, but Jr. remained focused throughout, asking pointed questions and making notes.
As the meeting drew to a close, Jr. stood up, thanking the department managers for their time and hard work.
"I'm confident that we're going to make some great progress on this trip," he said, smiling. "Joshua, I'm leaving you in charge while I'm away. I know I can count on you to take care of things."
Joshua nodded, smiling back at Jr. "Don't worry, Jr. I've got everything under control."
Jr. turned to Alex. "Alright, let's get going. We've got a plane to catch."
Alex nodded, following Jr. out of the conference room and back to the office.
As they gathered their things, Jr. turned to Joshua and said, "Thanks again, man. I owe you one."
Joshua smiled, clapping Jr. on the back. "No problem, Jr. Just bring back some good news."
Jr. grinned, nodding at Joshua before turning to leave with Alex.
As they walked out of the office, Jr. felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was ready for whatever lay ahead.
