Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: A Warning from Friends

Jr. headed to his mansion, eager to share his concerns with his friends, Alex and Joshua. He called them, and they agreed to meet up at his place.

As they arrived, Jr. suggested they play some basketball in the courtyard. As they played, Jr. told them about his father's plans to arrange a marriage between him and Sasha.

Alex and Joshua listened intently, their expressions growing more serious by the minute. "Which Sasha?" Alex asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

Joshua's eyes widened. "Don't tell me you're talking about Ferguson's daughter?" he exclaimed.

Jr. nodded. "She's the one."

Alex and Joshua looked at each other, and then they burst out laughing. "The moment you accept, just know you're done," Alex said, chuckling.

Joshua's expression turned serious. "We know her, Jr. She was engaged to some Arab guy, but he's in a coma. There are rumors that Sasha might have had something to do with it, but there's no evidence."

Jr.'s eyes widened in shock. "I already told my dad I won't marry her," he said, feeling a sense of relief.

Alex and Joshua nodded in agreement. "That's good, Jr. You have to stick to your answer. Otherwise, you'll end up marrying a psychopath. Your father doesn't know anything about her apart from being the daughter of his business associate."

The three friends continued to play basketball, enjoying each other's company. As the evening drew to a close, Jr. invited them to dinner.

Over dinner, they talked about their plans for the next day. Jr. asked them to sleep over, but Joshua had to leave early to take his dad for a medical checkup. Alex also had plans to visit his grandparents with his parents.

Jr. told them he planned to visit his maternal grandmother. After dinner, they enjoyed their desserts and talked some more.

As the night wore on, Jr. handed them some business documents to review. They spent some time going over the papers, discussing the finer points of the business deal.

Finally, it was time for bed. Joshua and Alex headed to the guest rooms, exhausted but content after a fun-filled evening.

As Jr. watched them go, he felt grateful for his friends. They had always been there for him, offering advice and support whenever he needed it.

He knew he could count on them to help him navigate the challenges ahead, including his father's plans to arrange a marriage between him and Sasha.

With a sense of determination, Jr. headed to his bedroom.
