Jr's grandfather, Hampton the First, looked at him with surprise and delight. "So, what about the black girl?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.
Jr's face lit up with a smile. "Grandfather, I'm actually planning to engage her once everything is settled."
Hampton the First's eyes widened in surprise. "What!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with emotion.
Jr nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, Grandpa. I love her so much, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. She'll be a great mother to those girls."
Hampton the First's face broke into a warm smile. "Son, you've chosen well," he said, his voice filled with approval. "She's the mother of those three girls, despite their different races. She didn't know their origins, but she chose to stick by them. If she were like other girls, she would have escaped alone, but she didn't. She saved them, looked after them in the forest, and taught them how to survive."
Hampton the First shook his head, his eyes shining with admiration. "That black girl has a golden heart."
Jr nodded, his eyes filled with love and respect for Bella. "After I engage her, we'll travel to Africa to her parents' home, so they know she's still alive and okay. They must be thinking she died."
Hampton the First's face lit up with excitement. "Oh, I must go with you!" he exclaimed. "Which country is it?"
Jr smiled. "Uganda."
Hampton the First's eyes sparkled. "You mean the Pearl of Africa?"
Jr nodded, his smile widening. "Yes, Grandpa."
Hampton the First's expression turned serious. "We have to meet her parents. I'll help you track down those criminals in high offices."
Jr's eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Grandfather. Your support means everything to me."
Hampton the First placed a hand on Jr's shoulder. "You're doing the right thing, son. I'm proud of you."
