Jr arrived at the office late, but he was confident that his grandmother would be in good hands with the girls. He knew they would keep her entertained and engaged, and he was grateful for their presence in his life.
As he stepped out of the elevator, he was greeted by the familiar faces of his employees. They smiled and nodded in respect, and Jr returned their greetings with a warm smile.
He made his way to his office, exchanging pleasantries with his staff along the way. Once he settled into his chair, Alex and Joshua knocked on the door and entered.
"Yes, boss?" they chimed in unison, their faces serious but with a hint of amusement.
Jr chuckled, knowing that they were referring to his new family. "They're fine," he said, smiling. "Yesterday, Mr. Hampton came to visit, and the girls were all over him. They asked him to bring his wife, and today, she arrived."
Alex and Joshua burst out laughing. "Wow, they've already accepted them," Alex said, wiping tears from his eyes. "Let's wait and see how your parents react."
Jr grinned, knowing that his parents would be surprised by the new additions to their family. But he was confident that they would come to love and accept the girls just as he had.
The conversation turned to more serious matters as Alex mentioned that they had caught another trafficker the night before. Jr's expression turned somber, and he asked where the trafficker was being held.
Joshua replied that he was in their underground facility, and Jr nodded. "Let's go see him when I'm done with my work," he said, his eyes narrowing in determination.
The rest of the morning passed quickly as Jr worked on his files and upcoming projects. He was focused and driven, knowing that he had a lot to accomplish.
As the day wore on, Jr's mind turned to the trafficker they had caught. He was determined to bring him to justice and to make sure that he paid for his crimes.
With a sense of purpose, Jr continued to work, driven by his desire to protect the innocent and to bring hope to those who had lost it.
