Jr's mother looked at him with a mix of emotions, her eyes searching for answers. "Son, why didn't you tell me about the girls?" she asked, her voice gentle but curious.
Jr took a deep breath, knowing he had to explain himself. "I'm sorry, Mom. I wanted you to find out for yourself, like Grandmother, Grandfather, and Dad did. Besides, I didn't know how you would react."
Mrs. Hampton's expression softened, understanding her son's concerns. "Even if you should have told me, I would have still reacted with love and support," she said.
Jr apologized again, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. His mother's words reassured him that she was there to support him, no matter what.
Then, Mrs. Hampton asked, "So, what's next?" Jr's eyes lit up with determination. "I want to first bring the criminals down, then take the girls to school and give them back their freedom. And, by the way, Mom, I'm planning to take Bella to her home in Africa."
Mrs. Hampton listened intently, her mind racing with thoughts and emotions. She knew her son was strong and capable, but she also knew the challenges he would face.
As they sat in Jr's study, surrounded by books and papers, Mrs. Hampton felt a sense of pride and admiration for her son. She knew he was doing what was right, fighting for justice and freedom for the girls and Bella.
Jr's determination and conviction inspired her, and she knew she would support him every step of the way. "I'm proud of you, son," she said, her voice filled with emotion.
Jr smiled, feeling grateful for his mother's love and support. He knew he could face anything as long as he had his family behind him.
