"I get the first part but what about the second part, he still had to fight." Murayama asked.
"Is it fighting if he never swung a sword or threw a punch? Tossing the sword aside showed that he had one before the fight even started. She chose to hang on and lost because of it." Katase explained.
"Huh, not a bad explanation." Rias said as everybody's attention moved over to Yumi and Xenovia as the ground shook and dirt flew up into the air.
"Excalibur Destruction does what the name implies as destroying this is a simple task." As Xenovia spoke Yumi shifted the blade in her hand from a one-handed sword into a matching two-handed behemoth.
The two of them began to swing their blades as small craters started to firm in the ground around them.
But it was obvious that two-handed blades were far from Yumi's expertise as she was clearly outclassed in each swing.
The two of them made one more clash as a massive crater formed in the ground.
Issei walked over to them as he held out his right hand as a sword began to form in it. It was a massive but thin sword that was black with a few trims of gold that was almost as tall as he was.
When he made his way over to them he swung his blade down on top of their connected swords sending them flying into the crater as the two of them tumbled back.
"Sun Tzu once said who wishes to fight must first count the cost." Issei said as they were confused as Issei hiked the blade up to his shoulder. "This fight is over you lost Yumi." She wasn't happy to hear that as Issei took hold of his blade and with the tip flicked Excalibur Destruction to Xenovia as it revealed a cracked sword under it. "You lost based on the fundamental flaw of talent vs skill." The boosted gear appeared on his left hand as Issei pointed at her with it "And you if you say something again that I don't like while you are here. I will make your life as an exorcist hell as I will bypass the fucking pope who sent you here and take it straight to Gabriel." Xenovia saw the boosted gear and was able to put the strings together. "Now get out of here."
Xenovia was quick to pick herself up and get Irina as they made their way off campus after securing their gear.
Issei however had other plans as he moved down into the crater as he picked up the almost broken blade.
He looked over to Yumi as she was getting ready to leave as he picked her up as slung her over his shoulder.
They made back over to the group as Issei shoved the black blade into the ground just so it would stand.
He threw Yumi onto the ground as he was holding onto her two-handed sword looking at all the cracks in the metal as it was just able to stay together.
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." Issei dropped the sword on the ground as it shattered "What one were you in that battle?"
"I already know myself." She said as she stood up leaning on the clubroom for support.
"Apparently not." Issei reached back and grabbed a hold of his weapon. He held it out for all to see
"You have a lot of black things in your equipment." Rias said remembering that he had a cloak that was just like the exorcists that were black along with the clothes he was wearing.
"I didn't commission this blade to be black." Issei said as he looked to Yumi "Do you know what this blade is?"
"It's just a sword."
She couldn't be any more wrong as Issei held the blade out as he funned some of his power into it. It started to shift from a black and gold blade to a white blade with gold trim that radiates off some holy power. "Just a sword." Issei mocked her as Yumi watched the transformation. "It is a Holy sword that you so despise yet you couldn't see the forest from the trees. This is Arondight the holy sword that followed Lancelot into his descent to madness." Issei let go of the blade as it stuck into the ground reverting to its black and gold look. "The sword is either Holy or demonic never both. Tell you this now you were the 3rd option you knew nothing about your enemy or yourself. All you know is rage and hatred"
"I'm leaving." She tried to walk away but she fell to the ground lying on her back as Issei was pressing his knee into the center of her chest spreading her breasts apart making them uncomfortable in her bra as they were spilling out the side.
"Let me take a guess. You survived the Holy Sword Project because of all of the children that were there. And all of their regrets fuel your powers to strive to destroy Excalibur with your demonic swords? Something like that?"
She reached up to strike at Issei only for him to make a cat-like strike as he smacked the side of her left breast with his fingertips that were poking out. All movement ceased as she was in extreme pain as her arms retracted as she grabbed her breast trying to soothe the pain. "Listen well and don't make me hit your other one. The path you are on as you are will lead to being a corpse and seven Excalibers still existing. Your so-called revenge will die with you as a failure. But you have a choice, you can run off and possibly get yourself killed. Or you stay here have Asia fix you up and talk to the exorcists and rid this town of a problem. And if your good maybe your good I'll let break one."
