Is this decision I made earlier right? I remember sending her to India, but he's also there. What if he finds out about her? No way! Rhea and Leo promised me they'd protect her...
Just then, my secretary burst in, breaking my train of thought. "Ma'am, your meeting with the agency is scheduled at 12:00 pm. Remember? It's already 10:04 am. Please get ready."

Ara's POV
I groggily opened my eyes, rubbing the sleep from my eyes."What the time now?"
I search my phone then...
"Shoot! I'm late!" I screamed.
Wait, this isn't my room.
Where am I?
"Ugh, Ara, you're sooo...Really! You forget things at the age of 16 only!"
I remembered I was in India, at my aunt's house. But I had overslept...it was already 11:49 am!!!!
"Oh man!! It's 11:49 Ara!!!" Ara you can do it, Just believe in yourself! Acting as a main lead of a action film I just throwing off my blanket and jumping out of my bed finally reached my suitcase!
"It's too cold here..."
I just take off my casual warm baggy joggers along with a warm sweater and jacket.
I quickly brushed my teeth, took a bath with cold water to wake myself up, In this cold whether bro! and got dressed in record time. I was ready by 12:02 pm.
I'm a little nervous but then I rushed towards the dining area. My aunt looked up from her coffee "Good morning Ara! Sleep well?"
I whispered, "Yeah..."
My aunt reassured me, "Hey, don't be afraid! It's just jet lag, Ara. You are still on german time. I just woke up before you came. I didn't even take a bath yet."
Just then, Liza walked out of her room, yawning, still in her night suit.
She is not in German time then why??
"See, she didn't even brush her teeth and came to the dining table," my aunt teased.
Liza screamed, "Mumma!"
aunt ordered, "First, go and brush your teeth. Take some inspiration from Ara, Miss Liza." She teased her.
Liza exclaimed, "Okay, I'll be back!"
"Hey miss! Where are you gone in every ten minutes? You are still standing! Sit on the chair and start eating!!" She orderd me and also delivered me a smile also.
I sit on the chair and noticed Leo and uncle is not here.
"Where is Leo and uncle?"
"Uncle is on work and Leo went to his friend's house for project discussion." She replied.
"Ohh"
Wait.. It's to long to eat Indian food! But now we have upma(made with semolina), poha(made with rice) along with almond-saffron milkshake.
I take a bite of each of them..
"Ummm, it's delicious!!"
"I'm glad you liked that." She replied.
Liza is back. "I'm here!"
She sits just next to me.
We three talked about my hobbies and my grades etc. Suddenly
my aunt reminded me, "Ara, it's time for your admission to school. You know, right? How long will be you at home? So uncle already submitted your transfer certificate, so you will be ask to give a entrance exam soon."
I asked, "But in which school?"
Liza replied, "Aurora International Academy. Me and Leo study there from kindergarten."
"Aurora International Academy!" Interesting.
"Ara, you are also in 10th standard. right?" She asked and..her mouth is full of poha on that time.
"Yah! I'm also in 10th standard but I'm two years younger than you and Leo." I replied.
Liza's eyes widened with curiosity. "But how is that possible? You're in the same grade as us, aren't you?" She smiled after.
"No, actually, Mumma wanted me to get a head start, so she skipped me ahead to 3rd standard. I didn't do 1st and 2nd standard," I explained.
Liza's eyes sparkled with surprise. "Whoa, that's cool! You're like a child prodigy or something!"
I nodded and smiled, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. My uncle had already submitted my transfer certificate to the school, and I would soon receive a call for the entrance test.
I am stressed!!!
After breakfast, liza suddenly suggested me..
"Hey Ara, let's go!"
"Where???" I ask in confusion.
"to the mall! Don't you want to buy your daily necessities? And also, you didn't bring much stuff from Germany."
I hesitate for a moment, unsure if I ready to face the crowds at the mall in a fully new country to me with a girl whom I was introduced just before not even 12 hours. I never before went to any market. I just ordered online or I have my butler.
But liza is ready to take my responsibilities and She is right, I didn't bring many important things from Germany. As soon I found myself agreeing to go along.
"Yes, I should come with you!" I replied to her.
"Okay then, let's go. I give you 5 minutes go to your room wear your shoes and come out." Liza said with excitement.
I wore my shoes and we drove to the mall in Liza's car, discussing about my choices and her choices. We stuck in a traffic jam for about 1 hour!! It's obvious Delhi is very crowded.
When we arrived, we headed straight to sanitary area first! It's important.. to buy body wash, shampoo and especially sanitary napkins. And then we headed to clothing area. Liza said that I should buy anything from her card.
Then Liza's phone rang.. she answered and then turned to me...
"Ara my old friend came from America. She is waiting for me at the Golden Levender cafè. I want to go there. You just complete the shopping and then come to the cafè at 9th floor of the building." She stated.
"Okay I complete the shopping and come to the cafè. Don't worry." I ensure her.
"Hey, why don't you remind me? How should you purchase all the items? Take this card." She handed me the debit card.
"I'm dumb! Bye."
"Okay!" She said while walking towards the entrance.
Okay, then continue the shopping!!!
After a while I go the billing counter, Make the bill and walking towards the exit. I took the elevator for the 9th floor. By the way, I am on 3rd floor.
When I stepped the elevator I saw a boy with grey deep eyes and messy black hair. He seemed to be so busy in his phone standing at the corner.
I put my heavy shopping bags on the corner of floor of the elevator. The lift door closed, and we began our ascent. But just the elevator reached the 7th floor, the lift suddenly jolted to a stop. Give me and the boy a shock.
The lights flickered and then went out, leaving us in darkness. My heart want to come out of my mouth but fortunately my mouth is small. I don't know why but I am acting weirdly.
I can't able to breathe properly. I rubbed my chest and try to relax myself. After a while I felled on my knees and almost lost my senses. I'm not in my consciousness But suddenly...
"..."
I felt someone is calling me but I didn't recognize and then I felt a hand on my shoulder from behind.
"Hey bro are you able to listen me? Are you okay?"
It's that grey eyes boy!
He search his bag and then handed me a water bottle.
"Hey, just relax... drink water. This you will feel better."
I raise my hand to take that bottle but my body was shaking. I failed. Then he raise his hand to my mouth to give me water. He put his hand on my head and tried to relax me.
I just looking at him. I still don't breath properly then he take one of his earbud and put it in my ears. The music is soft and calming.
Now a little I come to my senses.
"Just relax I'm here with you.. you are safe." He assured me.
One of the earbud in his ear and one of in my ear. We both sat there in silence for a while just staring at each other.
Just the soft music filling my ears. I felt my panic slowly become invisible and the only thing visible is the comfort.
"Are you okay now?" He breaks the silence.
"Yah, thank you.." I whispered my voice is hardly audible.
The boy smiled "Anytime!"
"Wait!!.! Wait!.!! why are you scared? Don't worry I am not a serial killer or any thief.. you don't need to scared of me." He said in an weird tune that breaks my smile.
"Nah..I don't mean like that."
He laughs " Hey bro, I am just kidding! Just chill. Let's become friends!"
I raised an eyebrow "huh! Friends.."
"Yah Friends! I promise we will be out of this together, friend!" He stated.
"Okay Friend, so what we have to do next?" I question my brand new friend In a new country.
"Friend, we have to contact the emergency number in the elevator first." He said this while he standing up.
I also stand up and returned his earbud. He press the emergency button and contact the department. He speaks in hindi. I didn't understand properly.
Then he turned to me....
"..."
He speaks in hindi on that time.
"What??? Actually I don't understand Hindi my friend. Can you please..." I stated.
"Huh, sorry... actually they said it's just a technical issue. they already taken an action. No need to worry. It just take 2 to 3 minutes.." He said.
"Okay...improvement!!"
"Hey friend, what's your name? I forget to ask you in hurry." He asks me.
"I also forget! I'm dumb! By the way my name is....."
Suddenly elevator start processing, lights come back. and I stopped.
"Ohhh myyy goddd!..!!" I show my joy with messing up my hairs.
The elevator stops on 9th. When the door opens Liza is already waiting for me in a worry. When she rushed towards me and give me a warm hug.
"Are you okay? Huhh? You make me worried you know 'miss dumb'!"
"Don't call me 'miss dumb'!"
Her face expressions changed very quickly when she notice him, the grey eyes. My brand new friend. Not only her, my brand new friend also.
"You!!" She whispered by staring at him.
Liza is in shock when she sees him. It seems like she knows him already!
