"None of those, my dear lady." He said with a calm voice. His eyes glinting in the dark, he looked like he knew something that she didn't. "I can simply grant your wish and revive the dead."
"Then do it!" Rias demanded.
"It will take time. 3 days and they shall be revived. You may rest assured and take a break, you shall know when they return. And of course, no side effects, no catch. They will be as normal as before." Cain said.
At that moment, Wendigo's life had ended. Its body broke down and crumbled to the ground.
Looking at that, Cain sped up his explanation.
"Congratulations, you have finished Elemental Tower. After this, a treasure chest shall appear from this monster's corpse. Take the item inside, as it is your reward. I shall await your brave challenge in the future, if you decide to enter my dungeon again. Farewell."
He then disconnected the monster, letting its body crumble into dust.
The last thing he saw was Sona and Rias' surprised expression as the treasure chest and a portal connected to outside appeared. They looked at each other and seemed to have a lot of questions to ask, but they couldn't.
After discussing with each other for a few seconds, they opened the chest and looked at the item inside.
"A monocle?" Rias, who calmed down after knowing her peerage would come back in three days, asked.
"It seems so. And there is a note, it said... A gift to help with dungeon exploration. Equip it and it would help with identifying monsters and items. It could be used inside or outside a dungeon. Is this real?"
"An appraisal monocle!" The Gremory Princess exclaimed in shock.

"That was satisfying." Cain leaned on his throne.
The show he got to see was satisfying.
After he was disconnected from the Wendigo's body, he watched Rias' expression turn from anger and sadness to hope, and finally, happiness and satisfaction. The look of joy in the red haired Devil's face was amazing.
The girl, who was crying in despair earlier, was now smiling happily, and was chatting excitedly with her friend. They gathered together in the boss room and exited after looting the treasure chest, leaving the dungeon in a good mood.
Upon leaving, they looked at the dungeon's entrance and found the new sign. Rias nodded in satisfaction, thinking that it was her wish that made the Dungeon Maker add such function permanently.
And then, the time that Cain looked forward to arrived.
[Challengers have finished the dungeon.]
[Reward distributed!]
[Emotional Rewards:
Despair: +12500 Coins
Anger: +15000 Coins
Hatred: +9000 Coins
Happiness: +6000 Coins
Determination: +10000 Coins
...]
A long list of emotional rewards was written in his mind. He couldn't track everything that was said, as the list was too long. So he only looked at the total coins he received.
[Total Coins: + 71,150 Coins]
Cain's lips curled into a large grin. He was glad he didn't open his third dungeon yet.
The reward from torturing the Devils' mind after killing their friends and servants was worth it.
"And I can do this many times. Even when they know their loved ones can revive, they would still feel despair and hate, just like how I can make the dead people remember their death."
If only the Devils could find the hidden reward, that would further fuel their motivation to finish the dungeons.
"Well, the appraisal monocle will do the work. And knowing how cunning and smart they are, they would soon figure out that the hidden treasure chest would contain better rewards."
He laughed loudly.
When he released his third and biggest dungeon, he would surely get even more coins and his fame would increase. With the additional Coins, he would be able to go with his plan to make the entrance flashy. It would attract more visitors to come and explore his dungeon.
"Alright, now, how do our ninjas fare?"
The second group, Naruto and co.
While the devils finished everything swiftly, the ninjas advanced very slowly toward the second floor. They ignored any hidden rooms and focused on finding the end of the cave.
"Not as fun as I expected."
Their movements were so coordinated that Cain was a little bit disappointed. They didn't get into a trap or got into any danger. Even when the goblins and slimes attacked, the monsters didn't pose a big threat.
The first floor's boss, the Orc, didn't pose a problem at all.
"Rasengan!" Naruto shouted and sent a chakra ball into the orc's chest, destroying it completely.
When an A-Class jutsu was used against a monster with E rank VIT, it would destroy them easily.
Cain, who was expecting an epic fight, facepalmed. He was greatly disappointed with what he saw.
In fact, the fight ended in less than a second. The ninja team advanced to the second floor. They didn't stop to look around and explore, and only focused on exploring the main area.
"Why aren't we exploring more, Kakashi-sensei?! There are many places we didn't check, like the room that's blocked with a boulder. It's clearly suspicious!" Naruto asked in confusion. He wanted to look around more.
Hearing that, Cain focused up. Naruto coincidentally asked the question he wanted to know the most.
'Good job, Naruto!' He secretly praised the blond ninja.
"Naruto, our mission is to explore and see what's inside the cave, not to play around and explore every hidden room. Other parties specialized in that might do so later. If we go deeper and investigate everything, it might take a while for us to return." Kakashi explained patiently, and Naruto reluctantly nodded, agreeing.
'Sigh, you're no fun, Kakashi.' Cain thought.
After watching them for a few minutes, he was disappointed. It was boring, watching them advancing and exploring the dungeon, defeating enemies easily.
Then, they arrived at the boss room. After briefly exchanging looks, Kakashi and Guy entered the room first, followed by the others. That was how the operation should go, but...
"I am first!" Naruto entered head first without thinking about the plan, rushing into the room.
Cain laughed when he saw this.
'Such a troublemaker.' He mused. 'But it makes things interesting.'
Once entering, Naruto was greeted by a large bull. It stood up from the ground and roared, its loud roar echoing inside the large cave. Its large body looked strong—muscles rippling and its horns gleaming.
Twenty slimes bounced up and down near its legs.
The sight was quite intimidating, especially to those who weren't used to the scene.
"What is that?!" Naruto exclaimed loudly, his voice filled with fear.
"Naruto, you shouldn't run like that." Neji scolded.
"My bad, but that thing is so scary!"
"No matter what, we need to beat that thing." Kakashi sighed, and prepared himself for the fight. He pulled his forehead protector up, revealing red eyes with three swirling tomoe, "Naruto, handle the slimy creatures with Neji and Tenten. The rest follow me to take care of that large bull." He commanded.
Naruto immediately ran towards the slimes and created a hand sign.
"Kage bunshin no jutsu!"
Five Naruto appeared from the cloud of white smoke.
"Let's get it!" He and his clones rushed to fight the slime, attacking with Rasengan and other taijutsu.
"Neji, let's follow Naruto." Tenten said to Neji. She unruffled the scrolls she had prepared beforehand, sending dozens of kunai hurling toward the slimes.
The Hyuuga nodded. He activated his Byakugan and moved his hand. Using Jyuken, he attacked the slimes, sending chakra into the slime's weak points and causing them to burst.
Meanwhile, the three other ninjas, Kakashi, Lee, and Guy, were fighting the Minotaur.
The beast roared, "MOOOO!!!"
It swung its large axe toward them, trying to kill its enemies with one fell swoop.
The ninjas, having experienced numerous battles before, were not intimidated by the large creature's strength. They had faced far worse.
Kakashi and Guy both jumped to the air, and Lee moved to the side, avoiding the axe easily.
"Nice, Lee. Let's see what we can do about this creature!"
"Yes, Guy-sensei!"
Chakra gathered on Lee and Guy's leg. They jumped from one place to another quickly and used their technique. They used a spinning kick and launched it to the creature's head.
"SMASH!" The creature roared as the impact caused its head to shake and blood spurted from the wounds on its face. But the creature was too large for their attack to affect much.
At that moment, the crackling sound of electricity was heard from the air.
"RAIGIRI!" Kakashi shouted. His hand was covered with electricity.
The Minotaur roared as its chest was stabbed with Kakashi's electric palm.
"BOOM!"
A loud noise echoed throughout the room. Kakashi's chidori penetrated the flesh, exposing its bones. Blood poured out from the wound and splashed onto his face. His lightning palm burned the flesh, and he could smell the stench of burning meat.
The large creature was still alive. It raised its arms and swung the axe down with its remaining strength, aiming for the white haired ninja's head.
"Guy!" He shouted.
"On it!" Guy answered enthusiastically. He ran at the creature, his leg covered with chakra, and jumped into the air.
He sent a powerful kick to its head, sending the Minotaur staggering backward.
"Konoha Senpu!" He spun around and kicked its legs.
"THUD!" The creature fell down on the ground and dropped the axe, making a loud noise.
Lee, seeing that, ran and jumped, using the creature's knee to push himself into the air. He then kicked the Minotaur's chin, snapping its head backward, making a cracking noise, breaking its neck.
The creature stopped moving, its head hanging to its side, blood dripping from its mouth.
"We did it, Guy-sensei!" Lee shouted excitedly, his hands raised into the air.
"Yeah! Youth is amazing, Lee!"
Meanwhile, Naruto, Neji and Tenten had finished dealing with the slimes. Naruto looked at his clothes, covered in slime mucus, in disgust.
"Nasty..." he murmured. He turned and looked around, noticing everything was done. "Is it over, sensei?"
Kakashi, who had been standing in the center of the room, looked at his team.
They seemed to be in a good condition, even though they had fought a few creatures already. There were no serious wounds and no one was tired.
He turned to Neji and asked, "Is there anything beyond this?"
"No." Neji answered. He was using his byakugan to scan the area.
Kakashi nodded.
"Good job, team. Let's return to the village."
"Finally!" Naruto cheered, his face filled with joy. "I want ramen!"
The others just sighed, shaking their heads at Naruto's childishness. They prepared to return, walking back from where they came from.
At that moment, a chest suddenly appeared and dropped from above, startling them. They turned around, and the chest landed right next to the corpse of the bull creature. The bull disappeared, and only a puddle of red liquid could be seen.
The sight startled the Copy Ninja. He didn't even realize that the corpse disappeared.
"What's happening?" He muttered, his face filled with shock. "I didn't detect any magic, chakra, or jutsu."
"What? A chest?" Naruto ran to the chest without any suspicion.
"Be careful, Naruto! It might be a trap." Neji warned.
"Huh?" The blonde ninja turned around and looked at Neji with a puzzled expression, but his hand already opened it, "Ah, I already opened it. Inside is... What is this?"
He pulled out a card from inside and read the words written on it.
"Appraisal Monocle?"
And then he looked at the item inside the chest.
"What exactly is this?"
The ninja was confused.
