Chapter 20 - Haste in plans and House Visit.

(A/N: Should I add "Naruto" to the title or not?)

Law only works for the rich, influential, and powerful. They all created the law so the ordinary inhabitants of their land would feel good and lessen the stress of everyday life.

The people who thought they could use the laws against the higher-ups must be delusional and crazy at some point.

After all, these powerful people made these laws. They know the loopholes, ups, and downs, and even the cheat codes themselves.

"What happened here?!" At that moment, Yuki's younger sister, Yoru walked into the scene and the three people lying dead on the ground unfolded right before her eyes.

"What a beautiful morning, isn't that right?" Cleaning the blood on his face, Yoichi smiled at the newcomer with a smile.

At that moment, Yoru's gorgeous face blackened and narrowed eyes.

It's her signature serious face as if it was a beast unleashed with all her limiters, gone.

Killing wantonly in front of the public was unforgivable in her eyes. Order and peace must be able to be judged by only the authorities.

Ignoring his greeting, Yoru began her rampage against Yoichi with a powerful kick to his head but he blocked it with his arm effortlessly.

'This control on movements, flexibility, and even such unheard strength! This is the 'Real Thorn Princess'!'

A series of powerful kicks and hand attacks rained against him but he all blocked and dodged the assaults like a fish in the water, slippery and agile in each move.

Both people in the middle of the street revealed their prowess. Yoru's strings of attacks aimed at his vital points, indicating her mastery of human weak points, and the adaptive strikes she employed, implying her combat accuracy in close combat deadly and lethality. A perfect assassin.

On the flip side, Yoichi was dodging and blocking multiple strikes in succession. His unpredictable ways of defending each killing assault, like a fish on the chopping block still jumping on, fighting for his very life on the stake.

"Thorn Princess is here! We're saved from this psychopathic maniac!"

"Arrest him! Thorn Princess!"

"Give this guy a lot of stabs!"

Feared merchants and high-ranking officials glanced at Yoru with relief and assurance from Yoichi, the murderer.

'Still looking like Yor Forger. The red eyes, light skin, and even the ornaments were the same. But it's here in Naruto world!'

"Thorn Princess? You? Heh! Maybe you should look at the context first before hammering down the judgment." Yoichi tightly grabbed her razor-sharp hand and peeked at her face for a closer look.

"Look at the so-called 'justice' you all great clans implemented! It's fine for a high-ranked official to bully someone weaker but ordinary people couldn't do vice versa? What is this fucking joke?! Huh? Is this the government you relish and obey? That they brainwashed you for this 'Fairness and Righteousness'?" Yoichi roared and slandered Yoru's face.

"We are the victims here! Even though we knew for a little time, you must trust your deduction when it comes to these precarious situations. I admit it, I killed them ruthlessly. But so what? I couldn't protect my loved one just because of this flimsy and fragile peace?!" Yoichi continued with his narrowed eyes and furrowed eyebrows, pretending to be angry.

Although Yoichi was lackadaisical and carefree at some times, his sense of belonging and uprightness was still there.

Suffering injustice in front of him was not in his vocabulary, especially if these stupid thugs and bandits casually made problems with his loved ones and the innocent lambs.

These so-called rules and regulations were intricately designed in favor of powerful individuals, utilized and manipulated through countless loopholes for them to get away with all of their antagonistic pursuits against the common folk.

After hearing his rants, Yoru's conflicted emotions as the battlefield of ideology swirled inside of her head.

'But...but he killed the thugs without any sort of proper judgments... But he killed them just to protect himself... What's wrong? What did I do wrong?'

"Come with me! Where's the Zen'in Family house? I need to talk about this issue."

Looking at her blank expression, Yoichi grabbed her wrist and walked away from the scene while Yoru pointed in the north direction of the town.

"Makima! Buy some things and get back to home. Take care of the kids." Yoichi's commanding tone rang in Makima's ears.

"Yoichi! Be careful out there!" Makima warned him, aware of his anger but glad that it was for her sake.

"I will." Yoichi strode forward with Yoru's lowered head in tow.

In each step, confidence and masculinity surfaced in Yoichi's handsome visage.

Yoru tilted her head upwards, looking at the exuding dominance displayed in his every move, earning her blushing face.

———————————————————

"Is this the Zen'in Family House?" Yoichi stopped holding her pitiful wrist.

She simply nodded in admission.

Looking at the building from a faint distance, Yoichi slightly admired the detailed and meticulous architectural designs of the building.

"Remember, I am only here because I need to have a lengthy talk with your Mother. As for my sin, I admitted it. But arresting me? Heh! Fat chance!" Yoichi snorted lightly, disdain and scorn on his face.

He knew about the same situations now and Yoichi didn't have the time to accommodate any kind of easygoing style.

Moreover, he wanted to know if these people were in line with his agenda or not as soon as possible. If not... It's fine. If yes, then the plan must be started immediately.

"I am curious about your mother's name and her situation. Can you talk about it?" Yoichi slowly walked side to side with Yoru, who was still in a trance state.

"Oi! Still don't know my name? My name is Yoichi Murakami. A wanderer of some sort. What's your name?" Yoichi introduced himself and asked about the familiar beauty.

"Ah! I deeply apologize! My name is Yoru Zen'in! Nice to meet you!" Yoru's face woke up in a stupor and bowed slightly with a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Nice to meet you, too. Yoru-san." Yoichi greeted her with a smile.

"...Yoichi-san, I'm sorry for my hasty and aggressive attitude earlier! I hope—" Yoru bowed once more in a lowered tone, sincerely admitting her mistakes.

"I don't mind... But always remember this, there are always gonna be troublesome scenes such as the same situation as earlier. You must be impartial and fair when giving judgment on these problems. At least, be fair in front of the public. Since you are a part of a famous clan." Yoichi merely shook off the previous disagreement.

The perception was always gonna be a reality in the faces of the common people.

It was always what they thought or believed, they didn't have time for the truth since the facts were always gonna be hidden in the public eyes.

Time was the only forte, they, the common folk could have since everyday struggles awaited them regardless of any major crisis that emerged.

Money? Time to work.

Connections? Time to show off my ability.

Family? Time to spend some familial love.

As long as time was on their side, they could build a stable and peaceful home in their minds... They thought but as Madara said: "Nothing goes as planned in this accursed world."

"...I thought I was fair at that time..." Nodding, Yoru was absorbed in his ideas and sentiments.

"Then what are you sorry for? Did you think it was fair to execute me without any context of the scene? What if it was a commoner and not me doing that? Is that fair in your eyes?" Yoichi rebuked her answer.

"Stop! Who are you?!"

Both of them arrived at the entrance and the two guards were in the stance, ready for a potential series of attacks.

"Cease your guard down! He is our valuable guest! Our guest here wanted to speak with my mother regarding an important task." In the blink of an eye, Yoru stepped forward with her serious voice and narrowed eyes.

"Yoru-sama! We sincerely apologize for such disrespectful behavior! We hope that our esteemed guest accepts our apology!"

Both guards were stunned but recovered, such insolence of them must be met with punishments, particularly in front of their valued guests.

"I accept both of your apologies, that cautiousness is remarkable! May I come inside now?" Yoichi didn't mind these guards' behavior. In honesty, he appreciated these cautious gestures as a way of the clan's teachings toward these guards.

"Sir, please. Make your way!" Both guards went back to their respective positions.

[Unknown location "Zenin Family House" has been added to the "Naruto Volume" collection.]

Both Yoichi and Yoru went on their way to the inside quarters of the Zen'in Family.

"Ummm... Yoichi-san, regarding your questions earlier. My mother's name is Maki Zen'in. She was also dubbed as the 'Martial Goddess'. It is due to her insane battle prowess and multiple battle merits across these lands. During this time, she is always training at her isolated living quarters. I hope you don't mind the late information I have given to you." Yoru's detailed information about her mother didn't even shock or worry Yoichi.

'Ah... Maki Zen'in... Does she have glasses on? It's inconceivable to think that Jujutsu Kaisen casts were here in the Naruto World. I would not be shocked if there's a counterpart on the Six Eyes Inheritor since these crossovers happened. Why it happened was still in my mind. What is it?'

Ah, it is what it is.
