Yuna ignored Ken, made an excuse that she had to leave soon, and rode away on her bicycle instead of walking.
The next day, after the inauguration, school started afresh. Every class began its syllabus, and most students started taking their studies seriously.
In the morning, everyone rushed to class. It was the first period of the third day after the inauguration, and all the students were inside the classroom. Just then, Nyx and Ren entered.
Nyx glanced at Yuna and said, "You two have been escaping for two days straight. What about today?"
Iris frowned. "Why should we pay?"
Nyx turned to Iris and snapped, "Because of you, it's damaged!"
An argument broke out between them, drawing the attention of the whole class.
Ren suddenly shouted, "Enough! Both of you, stop it!" Then, taking a deep breath, he added, "It's okay. No problem. We'll let it go. Nyx, just leave them be."
Nyx fell silent and looked at Yuna.
Yuna hesitated for a moment before saying, "I'm really sorry, Nyx, Ren. It was our mistake."
Before she could continue, Iris interrupted, "Yuna, stop apologizing."
But Yuna ignored her and said, "If there's any damage, just tell me how much, and I'll pay for it right now."
After hearing her sincere apology, both Nyx and Ren accepted it.
Ren smiled reassuringly at Yuna. "It's okay," he said, making the situation smoother.
However, Iris stared at Ren, unimpressed. Ren simply smiled at her, too.
Just then, a new teacher walked into the class and announced, "I will be your class teacher from now on. My name is Jensy. Nice to meet you all."
Jensy was a young, enthusiastic, and kind teacher.
The students stood up and greeted her.
"I will also be your English teacher," she added with a warm smile.
It was the first day for Jensy Ma'am, and she wanted to get to know her students.
"Since it's my first day, I want to learn more about you. So, students, please introduce yourselves," she said.
One by one, everyone introduced themselves.
Soon, the class ended, and it was break time.
Suddenly, someone appeared—it was Ken. He had come to meet Yuna.
Ken entered Class 11-B, but the boys in that class disliked seniors coming in, especially when they interacted with the girls.
Nyx, clearly irritated, turned to Ren and asked, "Why is he here?"
Ren sighed. "I don't know... but I think he came for Yuna."
Nyx and Ren both knew Ken well. Since they had been in the same school for years, they were aware of his reputation. Ken was a known playboy.
It was obvious that he was trying to make a move on Yuna.
But Yuna, being new, didn't know anything about him. She remained polite but kept ignoring his advances.
During the break, Ken approached Yuna and asked, "Let's go for coffee. I'll buy it for you."
Yuna declined.
Iris, watching the situation, simply smiled.
Ken then turned to Iris for help. "Can you convince her?" he asked.
Iris shrugged. "It's her decision."
Ken, however, didn't give up. He kept insisting, forcing Yuna to a point where she had no other choice.
Reluctantly, she agreed but only on one condition—"Iris, you have to come along
Iris came up with a plan and invited Eira to join them. Ken agreed, and they all headed to the canteen together.
On the way, Eira leaned in and whispered to Yuna, "Be careful with him."
Iris, curious, asked, "Why?"
"He's kind of a playboy," Eira replied.
Yuna simply shrugged. "He's not my type, so there's no problem."
When they reached the canteen and sat down, Ken quickly took a seat beside Yuna. However, Yuna, feeling uncomfortable, immediately switched places and sat next to Eira instead.
Ken tensed up for a moment but then took a deep breath, deciding to slow down and make his next move carefully.
On their way back, the girls walked together, leaving Ken behind.
But Ken wasn't ready to give up. He wanted to spend more time with Yuna and turned to his friends for help. "Give me a plan," he urged them.
Ken was serious—he genuinely wanted Yuna to be his girlfriend.
He made his intentions clear to his friends before heading back to class.
Wanting to make Ken happy, his friends quickly started coming up with a plan.
At the end of the school day, everyone left.
Yuna went to get her bicycle, but when she reached the parking area, it was gone.
She felt a wave of panic—this wasn't just any bicycle; it was a precious memory of her father. She stood there, unsure of what to do.
Iris had already left, leaving Yuna alone and confused. She anxiously looked around, hoping to spot it somewhere.
Just then, Ren and Nyx were passing by. They noticed Yuna's distressed expression, and Ren immediately grew concerned.
"What happened?" he asked.
Since Yuna already knew them, she felt comfortable enough to answer. "I lost my cycle," she said, her voice filled with worry.
Nyx let out a short laugh. "It's just a cycle... I thought something serious had happened."
Yuna's expression changed instantly. "It's not just a cycle!" she snapped. "It's a memory of my father!" Her eyes welled up with tears.
Nyx's smile faded. Seeing her so upset, he felt bad for making light of the situation. His expression turned serious.
"Alright, I'll help you. Just wait here," Nyx said. Then, turning to Ren, he added, "Stay with her. I'll be back with the cycle."
Yuna looked at Nyx, her eyes full of hope and desperation.
"Don't worry," Nyx assured her. "I'll find it."
With that, he left, determined to bring back her bicycle.
While Nyx went to find the bicycle, Yuna remained at school, full of worries.
Ren reassured her, saying, "Just trust Nyx. He never goes back on his word. No matter what happens, he always keeps his promises. I know him well. Relax, Yuna."
But Yuna couldn't shake off her worries. She recalled memories of her bicycle and her father—how they had spent time together.
At the parking lot, Ren and Yuna were approached by one of Ken's friends. "Yuna, Ken is waiting for you. We heard you lost your bicycle. It was just an old model, right? Ken is outside, ready to drop you off, and he has a surprise gift for you. Ken has always been kind, but when it comes to you, it's special. He really wants to help."
Yuna stood still for a few seconds, unsure of what to do. Just then, Ken entered and said, "Come on, Yuna. I'll help you."
However, upon seeing Ren with Yuna, Ken hesitated for a moment. Then, trying to sound casual, he continued, "You lost your bicycle, right? It was just an old one... I'll get you a new one—anything for you."
Ren narrowed his eyes and asked, "Ken, how did you know about the lost bicycle? Did you have anything to do with this?"
Ken fell silent, murmuring under his breath, unable to give a straight answer.
At that moment, Ren and Yuna realized the truth—Ken was the one who took her bicycle.
"Where is it?" Yuna demanded.
Ken hesitated before admitting, "We threw it away... It was old anyway."
Yuna's heart sank. Anxiety grew inside her—Nyx had not yet returned
