Chapter 29: New Developments in the Chat Group

Diluc?

Aiden wasn't surprised that Wendy had chosen Diluc.

If judged purely by ability, Diluc was even more capable than Jean. However, due to past events, he had distanced himself from the Knights of Favonius.

From the perspectives of status, background, and capability, Diluc was just as qualified as Jean.

It was entirely within Aiden's expectations that Wendy would choose him.

However, with both Jean and Diluc—two of Mondstadt's noble families—joining the group, yet Eula being left out… it seemed like she was truly being forgotten by history.

Of course, Aiden had no intention of reminding Wendy. He figured he'd wait until the opportunity arose to meet the proud Spindrift Knight in person.

"Forget it, let's talk as we walk. The Fatui are probably keeping an eye on my movements," Aiden said as he signaled Wendy and started moving forward.

"Huh? The Fatui already know your identity?" Wendy's expression turned serious upon hearing this.

If the Cryo Archon herself had noticed Aiden, Wendy wouldn't be too surprised.

But the Fatui were another story entirely. They had ties to the Abyss Order, and Wendy couldn't understand why the Cryo Archon was even willing to work with them.

Just thinking about what Dottore had done in Mondstadt was enough to make Wendy—usually easygoing—furious.

Those people had dared to act recklessly in Mondstadt while he was asleep. Though Wendy had respect for the Cryo Archon's decisions, that didn't mean he would tolerate the Fatui running amok in his city.

"No, not yet. It's just that, because I'm close to Keqing and Ningguang, the Fatui's Harbinger in Liyue has been trying to recruit me," Aiden chuckled. **"When I was in Liyue, the Fatui treated me with a great deal of respect.

As for Mondstadt… I can't say for sure."**

Oh wow.

If the Fatui ever find out Aiden's true identity, they're going to lose their minds, huh?

Just as Wendy was about to follow Aiden, his expression suddenly changed. He turned to Aiden and said, "My friend, I have to leave for now. Something has happened in Mondstadt, and I need to check it out."

"Huh? Do you need any help?" Aiden asked immediately.

"No need. I just need to confirm something—it's not too dangerous."

With that, Wendy transformed into a gust of wind and vanished.

Watching Wendy disappear, Aiden sighed. He really is a good god.

On the surface, Wendy seemed like nothing more than a carefree drunkard, but there were rumors that the only place the Anemo Archon couldn't be found… was Mondstadt itself.

Yet when it came to responsibility, Wendy far surpassed most other gods.

After all, which god would willingly allow themselves to be slapped by a mere mortal?

Was it because he owed La Signora?

But in truth, did Wendy really owe her anything?

If anyone owed La Signora, it was Mondstadt—the Knights of Favonius, not Wendy himself.

The Knights had indeed made mistakes throughout history. But at the time of La Signora's suffering, Wendy had been summoned to Khaenri'ah, fighting for his life on the battlefield.

He barely managed to survive, only to return and face Durin in battle.

If La Signora blamed Wendy for all of this… well, then something was wrong with her logic.

And yet, Wendy had still accepted her anger without resistance.

Simply because, in his absence, she had saved Mondstadt—and Mondstadt had failed her.

This was the nature of Mondstadt's god.

And Liyue's god wasn't much different.

But what about the other gods?

Aiden strongly suspected that Raiden Ei's implementation of the Vision Hunt Decree had nothing to do with some mysterious "final destination of Vision holders."

Instead, it was likely something she herself didn't fully understand—or even if she did, she couldn't put it into words.

She was protecting her people in her own way, but her methods were too extreme…

---

As Aiden strolled through Mondstadt, he continued pondering the future of cultivation.

Unlike before, he didn't have to improve his own strength through hard work—he could simply guide others and gain benefits from their progress.

However, people like Keqing, Ningguang, and future members from other nations would need a proper internal cultivation system.

Fortunately, after obtaining the Anemo Archon's Heart of God, Aiden's ability to create new techniques had improved significantly. Techniques he previously couldn't deduce now came to him with ease.

Suddenly, a notification popped up in the chat group:

"Ding! The manual 'Bone-Altering Sutra' has been uploaded to the group shop!"

Seeing the newly uploaded technique, Aiden nodded in satisfaction.

If one wanted to cultivate internal energy, their foundation—their physique—was crucial.

This Bone-Altering Sutra was something Aiden had derived himself.

It enhanced one's natural talent and constitution.

The price? 1,000 points.

Not cheap, but not too expensive either. While the effects weren't immediate, it was an invaluable resource for anyone seeking long-term growth.

After that, Aiden continued working on refining martial arts techniques.

Thanks to Zhongli, Aiden had already learned many of Liyue's existing techniques in the past. Though he hadn't paid much attention to them before, now that he had the time, it wouldn't hurt to refine them further.

Soon, several updated techniques appeared in the group shop:

"Yunlai Sword Style - Revised"

"Fuyun Archery - Revised"

"Qianyan Spear Technique - Revised"

"Guhua Sword Style - Revised"

Alongside these new techniques, Aiden also made improvements to the chat group system itself.

A search function was added to the group shop, and the pricing system was optimized.

For example, eliminating erosion damage now had a fixed cost: 2,000 points for one year of relief.

Additionally, physical attributes were now digitized, making it easier for members to track their progress.

Unfortunately, Aiden's strength wasn't yet sufficient to create personal stat panels for everyone. Even Zhongli and Wendy didn't have numerical panels yet.

Otherwise, Aiden would have loved to implement a full RPG-style status screen.

---

As Aiden finalized these updates, Keqing and the others quickly noticed the changes.

"So… the chat group isn't fixed. It can evolve?"

Looking at the newly updated features, Ningguang turned to Keqing with a serious expression.

**"Keqing, we need to accelerate our progress.

People from Mondstadt have already joined, and more will likely follow in the future.

We can't afford to sit back and wait anymore."**
