The young man took a deep breath. "How did I die? I'm pretty sure I wasn't in any condition to die from an accident so quietly."
Hearing the young man's words, the unknown entity quieted down and heaved a sigh.
[You were not supposed to die yet. But due to my conflict with another entity, you became a casualty. And the more surprising thing about this situation is that out of nearly ten billion people on your home planet, only you died.]
The young man's lips twitched. 'Am I really so unlucky?'
[No, it might not all be bad news for you. You didn't want to live in your world anyway.] The entity smiled brightly at the end.
"You think I'd be happier dead than living?" the young man asked in an accusing tone.
[Haha, of course not, not a single bit. But since you died because of me, I need to make up for it as well.] The entity calmly smiled, as if he was an angel that had descended on earth.
The young man's eyes lit up. He couldn't imagine what he might get from this godlike entity. 'But what was the beast that he had fought?' he wondered inwardly, forgetting that the entity could read his mind.
[The beast I fought was not something you can imagine. Stop bothering about that, since that beast was an apex predator not only in this Universe but also in the other countless planes and Divine Worlds. Even the high and mighty gods fear that beast, as he has been roaming this world since primordial times.]
The unknown entity patiently explained.
"I see, then I won't ask further about that." The young man took a deep breath and got down to business. "How are you going to make it up to me for my death, as you said before?"

The unknown entity waved his hand, and a glowing orb appeared beside the young man.
