"Slaying the Demon King Should’ve Been the End, Why Did It Restart?!" Arthur No-Retirement, the strongest hero in history, finally defeated the Demon King. But before he could celebrate, a lazy god named Lazyus appeared and revealed that the world keeps falling into destruction cycles—forcing Arthur to be summoned back every time. After experiencing this for centuries, Arthur decides to break the cycle. He tries to marry the Demon King, but fails since this one is male. Switching plans, he kidnaps the Imperial Princess, establishes world law, and becomes the Dictator Judge. The world is at peace, but a new problem arises: his wife is a yandere who wants to fill the world with Arthur’s descendants. Decades later, he has 13 overpowered children, terrifying the entire world. Just as Arthur hopes to retire, his children ask, "Papa, when are we conquering other worlds?" Arthur can only scream at the heavens, begging the gods for mercy.

Chapter 1 - Strange Hero

Tap… tap…

The sound of footsteps echoed through the grand hall. A man clad in a long black robe walked slowly, his presence ominous. He stopped in front of a massive door, waiting patiently as it opened.

Beyond it, a majestic throne awaited him—the throne of the Demon King. Yet beneath that grandeur lay an eerie silence and suffocating tension.

Viktor Pier Beelzebub stepped forward calmly, ascended the throne, and sat. His cold gaze swept across the room, staring down at those kneeling before him.

The demons present bowed their heads, their voices ringing out in unison.

"Our King, welcome to the Demon Kingdom!"

"From this day until our last breath, we swear loyalty to Demon King Viktor Pier Beelzebub!"

Viktor stared at them, his expression unreadable.

"Liars," he said coldly.

One of the attendants stepped forward, trying to reassure him. "My King, we all—"

But Viktor cut him off. "Your loyalty is nothing but—"

BOOM!

A massive explosion shattered the castle doors. Thick smoke filled the room. From within the haze, a silhouette emerged, dragging the battered body of a demon soldier.

"Ugh… Ah, I really shouldn't have destroyed that…" the young man muttered, releasing his grip on the defeated soldier.

As he stepped out of the smoke, he spoke without even looking at who was in front of him.

"Lilith Crimson! I've come to—"

But his words halted. His face froze.

"You… aren't Lilith?" he said in shock.

Viktor eyed him and slowly rose from his throne.

"Who are you, human?" His voice was firm and authoritative.

The young man hesitated, as if unsure how to respond. "I… uh… umm… what was my name again?"

Scratching his head in confusion, he finally shrugged. "Ah, never mind! I'm nobody! See ya!"

Without a second thought, he dashed toward the balcony and jumped.

"Teleport!" he shouted, clutching a compass hanging from his neck. The compass glowed brightly, and in an instant, he vanished.

Viktor stepped onto the balcony, staring at the spot where the young man had disappeared.

"Who is he…?"

Imperial Capital of Arcadia

The capital was always bustling, full of life. It was the heart of human civilization, the place where Heroes were summoned to defeat the Demon King.

But far from the busy streets, in a dark and narrow alley, a flash of light appeared.

"Ouch… that actually hurt." The young man groaned as he stood up, rubbing his backside.

From the shadows, a group of men emerged—local thugs, by the looks of them.

"Oi, look what we have here. Hey, kid, what are you doing in our turf?" one of them asked menacingly.

The young man looked at them expressionlessly. Casually, he reached into his pocket, pulled out a stack of coins, and handed it over.

"Here. Use this to get a better job."

He turned to leave.

But one of the thugs grabbed his shoulder. "Oi, if you have that much money, hand over everything, brat!"

The young man sighed, looking at him lazily.

"Give them an inch, and they take a mile…" he muttered.

Snatching back his coins, he added, "Fine. In that case, return my money and hand over everything you have."

The thugs laughed—until a few minutes later, they found themselves thrown onto the main street, stripped down to their underwear.

"Run! Damn it, he's not normal!"

Meanwhile, the young man walked out from the other end of the alley, now carrying a larger stack of money and wearing brand-new clothes.

Arthur Retirt

My name is Arthur Retirt. Well, it's just an alias, but since it stuck, I'll keep using it.

Like in every isekai story, I nearly died in my original world. Then, for some reason, a god summoned me here as a Hero to save this world.

How did I almost die? Why was I chosen? And what am I supposed to do after all this ends?

None of it matters anymore.

Because of that damn god.

He made me defeat the Demon King—only to then throw me into another world to fight another Demon King.

At first, I thought there were multiple worlds that needed saving. But after digging deeper, I realized…

This world is always being reset.

The White Room

At one point, I managed to slip into the gap between resets and met the one responsible for this madness.

In a boundless white room, a man lounged on a sofa, casually eating chips.

He glanced at me. "Oh? You actually made it here. What's up?"

I clenched my fists. "Oi, bastard! Why the hell do you keep resetting this world?! Are you insane?!"

He kept munching on his chips nonchalantly. "Managing the world's timeline is a hassle. I got lazy. So, I reset everything at a fixed point. It's easier to monitor the war between humans and demons that way."

I gawked. "WHAT?!"

He continued speaking. "If I let the world run naturally, humans would eventually war with other races, then among themselves, and then they'd destroy the planet. In the end, the world would collapse. So, it's just simpler to start over."

I was livid. "Oi, bastard! Send me back home!"

He sighed, looking at me blankly. "No. Out of all the candidates I observed, you're the most suitable for this boring job."

I lunged at him, my fist aimed at his face.

But before my punch could land—

I was thrown back into the world.

With a fresh reset.

My Conclusion

This world is always reset.

The war between humans and demons isn't fate—it's orchestrated.

Every time I win, the world is restarted from the beginning.

So the only way to end this is to make humans and demons coexist.

And based on my deductions, the best way is to unite the two symbols of power.

In some resets, the Demon King is a woman. So, if I marry the Demon King, the war can be avoided.

But…

This time, the Demon King is a man.

I let out a long sigh.

"Oh! I have an idea!" I shouted.

People around me stared like I was insane. Even a little kid looked worried.

But I just smiled.

If this war is scripted, then all I have to do—

Is change the rules.
