4 hours. I only slept 4 hours today.
2 lectures, one lab, and a 6 hour shift at the hospital.
Sigh*
I haven't even started on today's assignments yet...
Now I'm standing in the subway station waiting for the last train to go home. The freezing winter air blowing down from the stairs. I shiver, pulling on my thin jacket as far as it will go. It's old and way to small for me.
This winter is going to be extra cold. I should buy myself a new jacket with my paycheck next week. Ah. But I'm indoors all the time anyways, walking outside a little bit should be fine. Mom needs the money more anyways.
A yawn escapes me as the speaker announces over head the arrival of the next train.
"Please stand behind the yellow line. Please stand behind the yellow line."
Gosh, I can't wait to get home. Maybe I'll take a quick nap before doing my assignments first.
Maybe I was tired. Or maybe I was just too caught up on day dreaming about that nap, but the next thing I knew, I was tipping sideways, the tracks, the train, oh how bright those lights wer——
"You will be sent to the countryside as punishment. Don't come back until you have repented."
"I'm disappointed in you sister. Take her away. I don't want to see her face anymore."

Huh?
A strong grip grabs my arm and flings me away as I only barely catch a glimpse of those strange people that were talking to me.
A man, a woman, and a younger man. And they were all smiling.
