"Legends don't fade. They bleed into myth."
---
Snowstorm winds howled like dying spirits.
Mount Coronet had never known war. Not like this.
Red stepped forward—his boots crunching on frostbitten earth. He said nothing, only adjusting the brim of his cap as the wind tugged at his cloak. His Pikachu—older, scarred, lightning burning across its fur—leapt to his shoulder with a static crackle.
Auron stared.
So did Cynthia.
Even the corrupted Tainted League hesitated. They remembered him. Everyone did.
The Champion who never spoke.
The apex predator of Kanto.
The boy who beat gods—and then vanished.
Now he was back.
And he wasn't smiling.

FLASHBACK — 5 YEARS AGO
The Broken League Massacre.
It wasn't supposed to be a war.
It was supposed to be a ceremony—a gathering of all Champions under one hall. Red had walked in, silent as always, hand on his Pokéballs.
He remembered the first body to fall.
Wallace.
His Milotic had turned on him.
Then came Iris—her Hydreigon erupting in flame before she could even speak.
One by one, they fell.
Champions—betrayed by their own Pokémon.
The Glitch King's whisper had corrupted the very bond that once saved worlds.
And Red? He had one choice.
He erased his entire team.
Wiped them from the PC.
From memory.
From existence.
Except one.
Pikachu had looked up at him, tears in its eyes, trembling from the severed bondlines. And Red—
He broke his own heart.
"Forget me."
And still, Pikachu stayed.
---
NOW — MOUNT CORONET
"Red," Cynthia breathed. "Why now?"
Red didn't answer. He simply raised a single hand.
The signal.
Pikachu jumped down and hit the ground like a bolt of divine wrath. Its fur pulsed with old energy—far beyond Electric-type. This was Primordial Spark.
And the Tainted League knew they couldn't touch it.
"Champion Red," the corrupted leader said, almost hesitant, "we were told you were dead."
Red looked up.
And then, finally, he spoke.
"I was. You just never buried me deep enough."
---
THE FIGHT UNLEASHES
Red didn't use commands.
He didn't need them.
Pikachu moved—vanishing into streaks of golden light, striking with Volt Crush, Tailshock, Electro Drain, and a new technique Auron had never seen:
"Black Thunder."
It wasn't just electricity. It was emotion turned kinetic.
Years of betrayal. Guilt. Sacrifice.
The Tainted League fell—one after another. Their corrupted Pokémon screamed as the black lightning stripped their data-bonds and shattered the glitch infection.
But one remained standing.
Sable, the Corrupted Champion of Johto.
His Umbreon was fused with MissingNo data. It bled pixels. Its eyes spun like roulette wheels.
"You should've stayed buried," Sable said.
Red just stared.
"You first."
---
THE FINAL CLASH
Sable's Umbreon attacked—warping space with Shadow Wormholes and Corrupt Bite. Every strike sent chunks of Mount Coronet floating into the air like fragmented geometry.
But Pikachu—
He ascended.
Lightning burst from its paws like wings, slamming into the ground and launching itself higher, its body glowing.
Auron recognized it. So did Cynthia.
It was a Mega Evolution.
Not from a stone.
From sheer bond.
From faith.
Red clenched his fist. "Break the code."
Pikachu collided with Umbreon midair—and everything exploded into a prism of black and gold.
The impact knocked half the mountain into collapse. The Tainted League disintegrated into shrieks and corrupted pixels.
Only one thing remained standing.
Red.
And Pikachu.
Umbreon's broken body twitched at their feet. Sable coughed blood and vanished into the void, whispering the Glitch King's name like a curse.
---
AFTERMATH
Red turned to Auron.
"He's coming for you."
"Who?" Auron asked.
Red looked at Cynthia. "Your son already knows."
Cynthia stiffened.
Auron's eyes widened. "Wait… you mean—?"
But Red was already walking away.
He whispered as he passed Oak:
"Send the message. He's ready."
Oak nodded, eyes trembling.
"To whom?" Auron asked, still in shock.
And Oak answered:
"To the child Ash never got to meet."

MEANWHILE — IN THE SHATTERED NETWORK
The Glitch King leaned back in his throne, watching Red's assault.
"Red, Red, Red… still clinging to loyalty like it's not a virus."
He gestured to the shadows behind him.
And a small figure stepped out.
Silver-haired. With a smirk too familiar.
The child looked up, eyes glowing with Phoenix Flame and Glitch Code.
"Ready to meet your father?"
---
"The legacy of one child… may be the world's last firewall."
