"We're gonna be okay, we're gonna be okay."
"No, we're not. Watch out!" The man aimed at them but gladly none of the shots hit them. They continued to run and reached the road.
"Help us please!" a car stopped at them.
"Please help us, we're gonna die!" Sasha told them.
They let them in with pure heart and drove away.
"What's your name guys? Introduce yourselves." said the driver.
"I'm Sasha, this is Dex and that is McLaurel."
"Oh! I am Nico and that is Liz. We're not dating. I already know what you guys are about to say."
"Definitely not." Liz replied coldly.
McLaurel was looking at the side mirror and saw that Lorie was running behind them. It was carrying two bodies and she realized it was Mina and Ed.
Lorie threw the bodies towards them but missed.
They arrived at the police station uptown. They told him what happened. The officer sent many police to the house.
Suddenly, Officer Bell saw them and hugged them all.
"Are you guys alright? Did that monster come back?"
"Yes, and their boss is hunting us now too."
"Hey guys! You can stay up in our house tonight. It's safe there, don't worry." Nico offered them and they agreed.
"Nice! Well, I gotta go there at your house now. See you later, the officers will ask you later on." Sir Bell went in the car and waved at them.
"Bye Sir, stay safe." McLaurel waved back.
The officers came and asked them to go into the investigation room.
Sasha's heart was pounding and felt that something might happen. Liz and Nico stayed at the waiting area.
They asked them one by one. First was Sasha.
"Are you connected with the other cases in this specific cursed shop?"
"Y-yes, I am the husband of their victim."
"Do you believe in all of this?"
"Yes"
"Did you move something inside the store?"
She was asked by more questions and then it was McLaurel's turn
"Do you still want to be a sheriff?"
"I dont know, I guess I will come back?"
"Were there many entities roaming and targeting you right now?"
"Sure."
She was asked more questions again then it was Dex's.
He was shaking because he might get asked personal questions. He went into the room and sat.
He waited for the officer to speak, then he got bored. Dex roamed around the room and jumped ten times.
"Why are they taking so long?" he asked himself.
Suddenly, there were multiple gunshots outside the room.
He ran to the door and tried to open the door but it was locked. He heard more gunshots outside the room and he got so scared that he kicked the door with all his strength.
Dex kicked more and more but it was not working. The mirror got shot and shattered into pieces.
"Well I thought this was bulletproof." He hopped and got out of the room.
All the people around him were running in every direction. Some didn't know what was happening and just ran.
Police officers came down from the second and third floor. They went downstairs and looked around.
All of the people on the ground floor were down and injured. They had scratches, shots and slash all around their bodies.
The other group of officers went to the right and others went to the left.
On the left group, all of them saw an entity who was tasting every person who was down.
"Hands up! Get down! You are under arrest" an officer said, aiming the gun on him.
He still continued to taste the people around him and then, the officer shot him.
It stopped from licking its fingers and pointed his arms at them.
Turns out, it was not pointing at them but pointing at an entity behind them. It was Lorie smiling at them.
Eyes were wide and smile wrinkles were so visible. They backed out from her and shot it. All of them didn't care about the entity behind them.
Dex went downstairs and looked around both sides. He saw someone was coming and it was the Unknown Man that was trying to kill them.
He hid under the stairs and Liz, Nico and McLaurel were there. McLaurel was happy to see Dex and she sobbed too hard.
They heard footsteps above them and stopped when McLaurel was heard.
"I guess someone wants to play a game."
"McLaurel, pull out the card!." Dex whispered.
"I don't know where it is. It must have fallen when we ran here." McLaurel replied.
Dex took a peek around him and saw the box of the card was there.
When he looked upwards, he saw the man holding a gun, staring at him dead in the eye. The man loaded his gun and aimed at him.
He immediately ran for it and snatched the box of the cards.
He ran to a room and hid under an officer's table. Dex was breathing heavily so he covered his mouth to avoid noise.
He heard that the man had already opened the door, his footsteps were so loud.
The man flung a table into the back where Dex was hiding. He flung another one and there was a person hiding underneath it. The boy ran to his life and the Unknown man chased.
This was Dex's chance to escape the room. As he was about to get out of the room, Lorie was rushing towards the boy that was getting chased.
He was caught and screamed and cried in pain. Lorie laughed so much as she looked at the boy who was suffering.
Dex ran for his life outside and went back behind the stairs.
"Y'know we're too late, right? They have killed a lot of people and they only needed one! The boss of them will let the entities free and roam around this city!" McLaurel said
"No, we use these cards for them." Dex confidently told them.
"Okay so how will these help?" Liz said.
"We cheat the system of how this works."
He pulled the cards out of the box. He looked at them first and memorized them.
Then, he whispered the shop's name "El Fuego de Shop" and shuffled the cards. He picked the three that he memorized.
The cards were " Guilt, Burn, Downfall".
"So this is their weakness, we can still stop them even if they have already taken the souls."
"But firstly, where the hell is Sasha?"
