Chapter 11 - Breaking the Chains

Darkness engulfed Elian as the barrier closed around him, trapping him between layers of reality. He heard the voices of the guardians, confident in their victory, but his mind burned with rage. Everything inside him boiled, and his lips whispered on their own:

— Why... why... why... WHY?!

His voice grew rough, almost beastly. His eyes flared with wild determination, and his aura trembled, threatening to tear apart the fabric of space itself.

— NO! This is not the end! — his shout shook the barrier. — BASTARDS, YOU CAN'T SEAL ME!!!

A wave of energy tore through the space, and the walls of the barrier groaned. Cracks spread in all directions until the entire structure shattered to pieces. The guardians standing around froze in shock. Before they could blink, Elian was already in front of them.

With lightning speed, he grabbed the nearest guardian by the throat.

— You're not the ones who can stand against me, — he hissed, tightening his grip.

The guardian jerked, trying to free himself, but it was in vain. Elian increased his grip, and the guardian's body went limp — he was dead.

The remaining guardians were confused about what to do. Fear, confusion, disbelief. But soon, rage took over, and they, overcoming their shock, lunged into attack.

— KILL HIM! — someone shouted.

But Elian merely smirked. Destructive light began to pulse around him. He raised his hand, and the air trembled.

— Disappear, — he whispered.

An explosive wave of his aura surged outward, crushing everything in its path. The energy spread in all directions, tearing down the walls of the building, incinerating everyone inside. The building itself collapsed, turning everything within a few kilometers into ruins.

Elsewhere in the world, higher-ranking guardians watched footage from security cameras. They saw Elian breaking free, his form changing, turning into something else…

— This… is chaos, — one of them whispered.

On the screen, Elian stood in the center of the destruction, his eyes glowing with darkness, and his presence erased the very logic of the world. And then, after the explosion, the cameras stopped recording.

Silence followed. The guardians exchanged glances, unsure of what to do. Elian was no longer just a threat. He had become a catastrophe that could not be ignored.

— We need

to do something… And immediately…
