Chapter 12 - The beautiful student

After exchanging a glance and a tender greeting with Kaiser, Rika took her seat, the weight of her newfound power and identity settling within her. The classroom, already filled with students, fell into an expectant silence. The teacher, a middle-aged man who had been reviewing attendance, glanced at her from the corner of his eye.

He paused for a moment, as though trying to place her. After a brief hesitation, he addressed the class.

"I don't recognize you in this class. Are you new?"

The room was still as the students waited for her answer, but Rika rose to her feet with grace. Her smile was nothing short of captivating—a mix of confidence and quiet pride, as though she was about to deliver something monumental.

"Sorry for the late introduction," she said, her voice carrying effortlessly across the room. "Yes, I'm in this class, and my name is Rika Kaiser."

A stunned silence followed her declaration. The students exchanged incredulous glances, some whispering among themselves. The name "Kaiser" held weight, power, and intrigue.

In the back of the room, two girls who had once tormented Rika stood frozen in disbelief. Their eyes widened, and they exchanged quick glances.

"Rika... is she that Rika?" one of them murmured, her voice shaky.

The other girl stood up immediately, her expression filled with fear and disbelief. "Wait… is it really you?"

Rika tilted her head, her smile widening just a fraction, a hint of playful defiance in her gaze. "What if I'm that Rika?" she asked, her tone laced with challenge.

The girls exchanged a look, both horrified and confused, unable to reconcile the frail girl they had tormented with the confident, striking woman standing before them.

Rika's transformation wasn't just physical—she was someone new. The fear in their eyes spoke volumes, and they could do nothing but shrink back, speechless.

Meanwhile, Kaiser sat quietly in his seat, his gaze fixed on Rika. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. His eyes softened as he watched her—admiring her beauty, the quiet strength she exuded, and the way she effortlessly commanded attention without lifting a finger. She had become something more than just a girl to him.

The room buzzed with whispers, the shift in power palpable as the other students tried to make sense of Rika's sudden change. But Kaiser remained focused on her, the world around them fading as he watched the woman she had become.

The room was still heavy with the weight of Rika's declaration—her name now carried the undeniable power of the Kaiser family. But Rika wasn't done yet.

With her eyes gleaming, she straightened her posture, allowing the silence to stretch before she spoke again, her voice full of quiet authority.

"I'm also the girlfriend of Kaiser."

The shock in the room was palpable. Murmurs spread like wildfire as the students tried to digest the new information. But among the crowd, two familiar faces froze, their expressions shifting from disbelief to seething anger. The girls who had once mocked and tormented Rika now looked at her with a venomous glare.

One of them, her face contorted with fury, stood and rushed toward Rika. Her hands grabbed Rika's clothes tightly, trembling with rage.

"How dare you call yourself a Kaiser? And to even dream of being his girlfriend—you ? a fool, ignorant, and a coward!"

The classroom held its breath as Rika locked eyes with the girl. There was no trace of fear in her gaze—only a powerful, unwavering resolve. Her glare pierced the girl, sending an icy chill down her spine. The strength emanating from Rika was undeniable, causing the girl to recoil involuntarily.

Rika's lips curled into a small, dangerous smile as the girl hesitated, her bravado now faltering. But Rika wasn't done.

With a smooth, calm voice, she replied, "You have no idea who you're dealing with."

The girl, clearly embarrassed but unwilling to back down, straightened up and turned to her friend. "We know you are lying! She's only saying all this to deceive you, to gain respect from everyone," she declared. The anger in her voice was laced with bitterness. "And that's not all—she's not beautiful. She's as ugly as a beast, hiding behind makeup, with a prosthetic leg."

The room went silent. Rika stood still for a moment, the words of the girls hanging in the air. Then, a low, evil laugh escaped her lips. It started soft, growing louder with each passing second until it filled the room, an unsettling sound that sent shivers through everyone present. She laughed for a full seven seconds, her voice ringing like a haunting echo.

When she stopped, she looked directly at the two girls, her smile now cold and dangerous. With a calm, yet dangerous tone, she asked, "Where is the makeup? Where is the prosthetic? And where is this 'ugly beast' you speak of?"

The girls stood frozen, their faces turning pale as they searched Rika up and down. They found nothing. No makeup. No prosthetic. No flaw. Rika's face was flawless, like that of a beauty contestant, and her long, perfect legs were on full display beneath her short skirt. There was no hint of anything out of place—nothing that could support their cruel accusations.

The girls were left standing in stunned silence, their words crumbling in the face of undeniable truth.

Feeling utterly humiliated and defeated, they turned to Kaiser—the very person they had hoped would back them up. Desperately, they begged, "Tell us this isn't true! Tell us she's lying, please!"

Kaiser's gaze was cold and unblinking as he turned to face them. He didn't say anything for a moment, his eyes narrowing as if he were peering into their very souls.

"What do you want me to tell you?" he asked, his voice smooth but dripping with contempt. "Huh? Are you commanding me, Kaiser, to give you an answer to your foolish questions?"

The air in the room seemed to grow heavy, a sense of dread sweeping over the two girls as they realized the weight of his words. Kaiser's stance was calm, but there was something dangerous in the way he spoke.

Then, he gave them an answer they would never forget. With a finality that sent shivers through the room, he declared, "Well, then I'll give you the answer you need. Yes, I'm hers, and she is MINE."

The words hung in the air, sharp and final, leaving no room for argument.

One of the girls, the one who had once harbored feelings for Kaiser, gasped, her face turning a sickly shade of pale. She couldn't hold back her emotions any longer. Without a word, she turned and ran out of the classroom, tears streaming down her face. Her friend followed her , the teacher was also on her heels, leaving the room in a state of stunned silence.

As the chaos unfolded around her, Rika remained unfazed. She stood tall, her smile now something far more beautiful—and terrifying—than before. Slowly, she returned to her seat, her presence commanding the room.

With a final glance at the remaining students, she took her seat and settled in, as if nothing had happened. The classroom was never the same.
